As a little boy my parents wanted me to buy a crocodile for Christmas, that was in 1963.
I didn't want it because I thought it is the ugliest locomotive there is.
Now I am 64 and after a break of more than 30 years I start building a model again.
Now I have changed my mind completely. I just got to have a crocodile. And I think I go for this brown one.

The smooth and silent driving of this loco is just smashing. A shame Märklin produces the soft drive sinus engine anymore.

I have an idea! I've heard that the ESU V200 (31087) has splendid optics and runs really smoothely. But...I know that you only run Märklin on your layout. However if you should change your mind, I know a friend who has that loco!
