Thailand Vegan Food Guide: Bangkok. What we ate in Bangkok, Thailand in this vegan travel vlog.
(SPONSORED VIDEO) A British Thai food company, called Thai Taste, sent us on a mission to go and discover what vegan food we can find in Bangkok, one of the world's most hectic cities!
Thai Taste can be found in major supermarkets, such as Waitrose and Sainsbury's and independent retailers. They have over 40 vegan products in their range (although their whole range isnt vegan), from vegan fish sauce, curry pastes and meal kits.
Everything we ate on this video was researched or we were told by local vegans to go check it out. We double, triple checked that everything we ate was vegan, most of the time asking the chef or cook to list the ingredients.
(We filmed this video many weeks ago, around the time Coronavirus was emerging and when travel was deemed safe. We do not advise travel now, please check the Foreign Office website)

Hay lắm, tôi rất thích nơi bạn sống.
Brilliant video👍
Funny how she says, "Lots of tourists" like if it is bothering her...when they are tourists.
Not so many tourists here now though :'( So many places closing or moving
I'm moving to BKK next week, I can't wait to try these out!
Great video... amazing information!
Very good. Interesting
Lovely to see some places I know
Cool have you been?
Yes several times. I know Ethos and Khaosan Rd etc. By the way you know me too 😂
@@RichardIIfan Such a shame they're closed now :(
@@RootTheFuture it's sad.
I think you guys should think about taking a break on the van and do a long well deserved weekend back to the tropics!!
We LOVE the tropics, so hopefully at some point
Hey, I live in BKK and I saw a few spots that I've never been before in this video... but you guys didn't name all of the restaurants! There's also no list in the description... how will people visit some of the spots that you didn't name?
If you want to see a full list of all the vegan restaurants in Bangkok, head over to our website! rootthefuture.com/vegan-menu-list-bangkok/ There are 36 of them!
Nice video! Look so yummy Thailand vegan food! Big like!

Welcome to Bagkok Thailand.
I'm Thai and I'm here to find some vegan food in Thai..btw that tuktuk 250 bath? I think it over price...
It really was an expensive journey
Are you still in Thailand looking for vegan food? :)
Great video. Have you ever filmed what meals you get on the plane. I’m going to Thailand and not been on a plane since going vegan six years ago.
Amazing looking food. Did you bring any recipes home? I hope so
Sorry, we must have missed your comment 🧡 We didn't get a chance to do any classes but we came home with lots of inspiration 😃x
🤘💙🤘
So much of the food you ate was full of white sugar. You missed so many really good vegan places. I'm a vegan living here in BGK 8yrs. Ask ke naxt time. 😃
What's your favourite place to visit?
What do you recommend? I'll be there soon
Hii is there a guide or something else where I can find the name of the places. For example whats the name of the mall where Veganerie was? Thank you for this video :) Bangkoks vegan food looks great
Did you guys try the other vegan chain in Bangkok: Broccoli Revolution?
What was the exact name and location of the ‘home restaurant’ with the brick walls?
hey guys! what's the name of the breakfast place that had the Frankfurts?
Most of the coconut ice cream sold in Thailand is not vegan, it contains milk powder.
Massaman curry you ate at the restaurant is also not authentic, local Thais do not put any cauliflower or broccoli in the curry tho
Hi guys, found your video in your post in the vegan Thai group - do you know if Thai taste sell in Thailand? Would love to get a hold of their curry pastes (the ones in thailand all have fish sauce in them) thanks!
love May Veggie home!
Its a fantastic place :-)
It's closed now! They've moved to 101 True Digital Park
there are some places in your video i have not been before but i cant find any info on where they are ,maybe you can show a map

@@RootTheFuture This list is amazing!
I always wanted to go to Thailand but too scared I won't find anything to eat as they like adding fish sauce or some other murdered creature to everything. At least in Bangkok there seems to be a few places but what about the other touristy places in Thailand?
I had trouble finding Veganerie in Siam Paragon too
It's almost hidden haha
4:47 where is this place? Can't find it on google maps
175 Samsen Rd, Wat Sam Phraya, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand. It's called Tham Na.
Hi, i love the veg food. They look so tasty and it makes me want to eat that now 🤭. I haven’t watched till the end but all seem to be amazing 😊. And omg yeah the meat food sounds disgusting 🤮 and thank god you never showed that. I love chicken the most!
Filipino foods 👌👌👌👌👌😘
15.10 Thai pancake is a desert made from flour, sugar, pandan, and coconut milk. Don't have a banana😳😳
We were thinking the same :)
Is it possible to provide the list of restaurants with the location as am pure vegetarian n going to visit Thai land in next 2 weeks
I wish we did now
Do you guys like mango sticky rice
Yes
HELLO VEGAN MOSCOW
Ugh. The fish sauce. Years ago I went to a Thai restaurant in the U.S.nand asked them to make me a dish without the fish sauce. The response was.an angry rant that without fish sauce it is not Thai food. Now there are numerous vegan Thai restaurants around. Still, if not certain, must stipulate 'no fish sauce' from the start.
well the restaurant owner was correct, you don't get to make the decisions for the ingredients. make it at home yourself if you don't want an essential ingredient in it.
@@FunkyChild718 Nah. It's completely stupid. There are plenty of vegan Thai restaurants in the U.S. and MANY in Thailand. The guy was just a closed minded *ss, imo. He could have offered to make something without the fish sauce, just explaining that it would taste different than the Thai food most people are used to. People request that various ingredients be left out of food at restaurants all the time, and this was a very easy request to accommodate. Never went back there, obviously, so he also lost a customer.
Where is Thai Vega food?
Vegan food ?
Due to Corona, May Viggie closed already
That's sad 😔
They reopened at sukumvit101 alley, you can search in google map
Veganism. Is it more of a western thing?
Came from the east originally
It was difficult to hear you calling a precious food, any food disgusting. On behalf of those who have experienced starvation, hunger I'm hoping 🙏 you'll consider. 💗
Eating dead animals is disgusting , now F off.
