Pigs are doing really well for that weight at that age, I agree that they would be best weaned at 5weeks in your circumstances and she will come on heat again very quickly afterwards. Will you take the sow from the pigs or remove pigs and leave the sow where she is? I think that you are feeding a bit too much creep food at once and so getting some unnecessary waste which will attract birds and other undesirables. You might also consider feeding wet mash + water instead of dry food + water. This helps to reduce stress of liquid deprivation immediately post weaning and often less wastage as a side benefit. They will also physically eat more / per day = faster growth.
+Dan Whiteford I will most likely remove the piglets. I am better setup for that then the other way around. I also don't want the piglets to try to nurse on Cabana who is due to farrow around May 15th. Nursing on her can cause her oxytocin levels to rise and she will abort her piglets. The extra feed is typically cleaned up by the chicken that live in the woods with the pigs. I can't seem to catch them to remove them. Plus they aren't consistent layers and the eggs they do lay the pigs find them and eat them.
I know this video have made some time ago but I still wondering did you guys have any piglets for sale I would like to have three for my car if so please contact me thank you for your time
+piney power (billy) I did not cut their teeth, but in the future if I see any needle teeth damage on the piglets I will try to remedy it by clipping teeth. It was very sad to see a piglet waste away from it.
