Dare I say he's already on track to be one of the best outfielders the game has ever seen. And he's got many years left in him. Verdugo is the next generation of the Yankees' dynasty. Keep this guy at all costs.
One of the best OF the game has seen is a crazy take he’s had one season excluding the pandemic year of being a above average hitter. If the team has to pick between guys like Dominguez and jones or dugie than you go Dominguez like they will. Get him on a contract year so he plays with motivation and then let him leave on a overpriced deal.

They need some passion, like when we had Tino, Derek, Scott, and the boss- Pauline! Passion wins! Also, Juan, Marcus and Volpe are all dawgs! The energy helps motivates the fans to cheer and root for them!

Im a Sox fan who was sad to see him go. One thing I will never understand is the total airball on his nickname! Verdugo means executioner in Spanish, and he's Mexican. Mexicutioner would be an awesome nickname. Not one that literally sounds like dookie in Dugie. Get on that NY media
I bet you he stays and the Martian becomes a day of monster if I was Boone the Verdugo is my Dawg on LF for 3 seasons maybe more but I would easy the Martian slow just think he played few weeks and got injured so he would be DH and play all 3 CF RF LF and let him develop best position and just watch great players best development to watch Soto ,Judge , Verdugo and Stanton oh boy we can have a spectacular dynasty
