Your period photos are are all mixed up. You have some photos from the 20’s. Others from the 30’s and some 40’s. You also included a picture of a model that is contemporary in a 30’s inspired look…
You need to be more careful when adding the captions. Perhaps English is not your best language. The French fashion designer was usually referred to as Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel, or just Chanel. Also thats Hedy Lamar, not Joan Crawford. Also, you could have identified the Prince of Wales and his wife, Wallis Simpson. These are easily researched and fact checked. Maybe ask an older person to proof read next time.
I couldn't believe he didn't recognize the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. Also, that was not Warner Bros coming out of the costume department. It was Bette Davis. I missed Hedy Lamarr.
A wonderful review of costumes unfortunately several were not 30 they were 40s one was 20s and a picture of Hedy lamarr was said to be Joan Crawford but it was still a very enjoyable
Not sure all the actresses are correctly named. Think there are one or two modern photos. And at 1.29 minutes, 'A Couple in Elegant Wear'. A couple? Edward and Mrs Simpson!
Of,course the women in dresses and skirts look dated, many modern women now don't wear dresses or skirts alot now only in some occasions or never at all .The truth,is most women in the 1930s rarely wore pants so even though hollywood women were wearing pants in many cases,it wasn't that common for normal women aside from a few occasions mostly casual if ever, dresses and skirts are what most everday women wore.
Times have changed its another time we don't use furs anymore. I wish there was a substitute for fur that was really good maybe there is and I don't know about it furwas a very important part of costumes in the 1930s and they are what made the costume so beautiful many cases. No we do not kill animals to put on a dress or a coat that is a good thing
Such ignorance in the fashion industry. Killing animals as a fashion statement. Unethical poor judgement on the part of the dull headed designers. Tremendously BIG FAUX PAS.😠😠😠😡😡😡😵😵😵
One photo of a young women is not from the 1930s because she has thick eye brows and a 1950s hair cut , I know I'm a senior women .

Loved the pics. If only we still dressed so comfy…the pants, suits, and I’ve always loved the shoes!

" A coupĺe in elegant wear 1939" just are the Windsor's duque and duchess : Edward and Wallys Simpson
Wow these are really great photos. However, at 4:05 the actress is not Joan Crawford. It looks like Hedy Lamarr, but I can't be 100% sure.
my thought too
It is Hedy Lamarr.
@@richardmacleod5253 Thanks for the confirmation 😀😀 When I was watching, I wasn't 100% sure.
To me the women in dresses look dated, but the women wearing pants still look stylish. Joan Crawford in particular looks timeless.
