Not sure how this wound up in my recommended either, but to clear up a couple things (disclaimer, I'm not an expert):
1: He is playing on a Minecraft Server that is designed around a "Factions" game mode, a very popular game mode about creating a faction and building up a base.
2: The "$7,000,000" is as real as Monopoly Money (minus maybe some of the "spawners" (the back cage blocks) which are likely to be paid for. Those generally would cost $3-$100, as an estimate.
3: In this game mode, players can "raid" other bases, so stealing items is commonplace and expected. Players build up walls to try and protect their wealth, but the premise of this video is that this base was not very well protected. As a player, he was excited, because it was an easy win. Compare this to a criminal trying to rob a bank, and he walks in to find the doors wide open, the employees knocked out on the floor and the money just lying everywhere, ripe for the picking. Of course Minecraft is just a game, but it's a similar feeling, as people do put a lot of work and effort into protecting their faction and finding such cases is uncommon.
4: Yes, I know its "just Minecraft". But realize, its 2019, the age of digital culture, and people get enjoyment out of this - why rob them of that?

Xaul17 Gaming That's the point of faction I played factions for 2 years we had 3 alt factions just to claim land around us and over 100 walls and 50 on top if you can't manage to keep your base protected then you deserve to raid it even without a hole in the wall you could build a simple txt cannon and blow through in 20 minutes

If you have a experience in minecraft faction servers you would feel the best thing ever that will happen in your entire life in this one moment. I was playing minecraft factions with my cousins before I quitted the game. But tbh we got good raids because I was x ray hacking. Back in the days we would call raids like these “God Raids”. I got hyped when I saw him got kills and spawners because they were valued at a very high price. I miss factions...
His Excitement gets worse every time and I fucking Love it.
For people who don’t understand, he’s on a server with factions that fight and collect stuff. He basically got into a really powerful faction’s base (which is next to impossible) and took a lot of their valuable stuff.

A lot of servers have a server wide currency, this currency can be used to get better gear or more land for your "faction" so by stealing other players stuff you can sell it and make more money for yourself to expand and fortify your base.
The 7 mil was from the spawners, its roughly what the spawners were worth on the server

These are minecraft faction pvp servers, you can create a faction (clan, guild) and take over Land from the "wilderness" to protect your stuff from random players. As a faction you can raid other factions. The tricky question is, how to do it.
