Did a fair bit of diving at Radshoo Atoll when on honeymoon. Wonderful diving and snorkelling. I signed up to Master Liveaboard's newsletter after that and keep getting their marketing e-mails. One day, I'll be able to afford it!
Commenting so your video gets more recommended. I'm really sad about this dum algorithm doing this to all my favorite scuba UA-cam channels nowadays... 😢
@@ScubaDiverMagazine Mine too. I work in the Maldives so very surprised by the nature of the accident. Especially considering how skilled the Dhoni captains usually are. Not sure if you've already made a video, but maybe worth it to make a video for newer divers on how to minimize the risk of boat accidents in diving
@sameermohideen4913 I guess having the reel easily breakaway or hold it in your hand only when deploying so easily let go if the worst should happen. Don't know the exact circumstances but perhaps the smb was only just reaching the surface before it was visible happen to go straight into the prop. Usually you can hear the motor from underwater so divers need to be aware. Whatever happened its still a terrible and avoidable accident.

Great video. I appreciate this piece you made about my country. 😊
Speaking of Maldives live aboard, did you hear about the horrible accident on the Maldives Aggressor a few days agp?
Yes, terrible accident. Reports say her dSMB was caught on a propellor and she lost part of her leg.
Propellors are still in my top 3 fears of diving.

Another South African!
❤😅ayyyy
#askmark can you do more of these? Would be especially keen to see some on Indonesia and the Philippines.
Sure, I'm trying to mix up the travel videos to be more dive site and itinerary specific.
Maybe Maldives tries to promote tourism to an extra mile as Indian government bans tourism to Maldives
Lakshadweep emerges 😊
