Great job ! Haven't quite seen any comparison like this before but it truly shows how much the same these pedals are and how as guitarists we so often get duped with hype, "brand name" and limited access to "boutique* and "desirable yet not so accessible" pedals. Many thanks. I'd be curious to see how an actual King of Tone or Price of Tone stacks up against other pedals. Better yet, compare a Klon versus a Digitech Bad Monkey....Josh from JHS made those two pedals sound identical ! -Cheers !
I hope people don't come to the wrong conclusion here. I have these two in front of me right now as I type. They are very obviously different and they are not at all as similar as this suggests. The presence trimpot in my DoT s set to it's stock position (fully clockwise) and it's a lot warmer in tone and much smoother more traditional OD in feel. Maybe with that trimpot set differently the two pedals will be closer but seeing some comments here already thinking they are the same and that's just not the case at all.

Frequency wise, the Duke and BD-2 are very close!
I would choose the Blues driver. Simply because it can take a battery. Both are basically the same sounding pedal.
Wow - they seem like the exact same frequency response. Or at least within an undetectable margin of error.
Id be tempted to try the mxr on bass cos it looks like it attenuates bass the least
This is frequency,,,not how the pedals,,sound,,,,one could have higher frequency and sound,,,awful,,,,,,,,dont mislead❤
