I think By Kilian fragrances are way overpriced. If they would be bigger bottles or priced under 200 euros/dollars that would be excellent. But someone is greedy.
It’s definitely Estée Lauder. Kilian used to be amazing, and it still has a soul compared to some fragrance companies. However Estée Lauder has butchered most of the fragrances sadly
That’s what I said since I discovered the house the bottles too damn small for the price they charging I never smelled or owned a bottle but if I smelled it and it lives up to the hype I still wouldn’t buy it due to the size of it but due to the price n size I’ll never purchase it

Having said that, I find Ursa suitable only for winters and cold weather, but straight to heaven is more of a year round fragrance. I think the oud facet in Ursa is what makes all the difference.
I think Terenzi is underrated and not hyped. Well good for me. I think you could also do a comparison between Terenzi's Porpora and FM portrait of a lady.

As you said, the heat warms it up but it’s never cloying, at least not to my nose.....get so many compliments with it too!👍🏻
So this was a blind buy for me... and what a magnificent fragrance it is. So earthy , it’s like being in a forest in December ... it’s introspective and mysterious energy...This scent is deep, woody, boozy , leather, patchouli... this is where the Big Dipper meets Mother Earth...
I owned the STH and Ursa I prefer Ursa indeed plus, i feel that it really react with your body chemistry in a very noticeable way and then, for me, magic happens!
I owned the original and also got an inspired version. I was really surprised that the depth and longevity of the inspired version is better than the original!
Straight to Heaven for me is a rich and more complex version of Oud & Bergamot from Jo Malone. In the air they are really similar (at least to my nose)
Hello Sebastian I would ask about tom ford patchouli absolu.... i found Tribal arte perfumi and patchouli nobil 1942 are very similar to TF patchouli absolu.... What do you think about it...? And do you have another suggestion. Unfortunately, absolu isn't any more in markt... Thanks a lot

I just received my blind bought Ursa today and i love it! The animalic smell at the beginning does kind of remind me of Guerlain’s Bois Mysterieux too by the way
I recently bought Foconero by T. Terenzi and this is another more wearable fragrance IMO compared to the brother in spirit by Kilian called Vodka on the Rocks. Love both but Foconero seems to be more refined. Ursa sounds pretty good as well.
Keep checking places like Neiman Marcus and Saks 5th online. Occasionally they’ll have 15-25% off, and I think both have Kilians stocked. Every few months I’ll hit them up and pick up some frags that don’t show up as often at discounters.
First sniff Ursa... I don't like it at all, coz I don'tlike animalic, leather notes.... but, I don't understand..finally I love it eventually after I wore it all day long...
I am planning that out for sometime at the end of the year. But stay tuned for some new fragrances I'll be speaking about from TT within a 1.5 weeks! :)
Great video, thanks! I sure wish I had your bottle of Ursa. I recently bought a new bottle and the smell out of the bottle is a wet damp hay smell and that's it. After about 10 minutes you can start to smell the other notes. Also, the longevity on my bottle is about 2 hours on the skin. I sprayed it on a cloth as well and after about 2 hours the smell was gone. The batch on my bottle is D10173. Maybe it's a poor batch because it sure doesn't smell or "act" like the bottle you have.
Anybody remember Gucci Rush for Men? It was my favorite but then discontinued. Found STH and it is almost an exact replica. However, I am excited for check out your recommendation by TT.

The performance of the reformulated STH has let me down so much that i am gonna sell my full bottle after only a few sprays :( Hopefully Ursa will be a good replacement, thanks Sebastien!

I did same Ursa BB on tester from Fragrancebuy as well. Waiting is killing me, still bout a week out. Only T. Terenzi I own is Laudano Nero. Like it so much I also BB Ecstasy, Foconero, and Spirito Fiorentino. I think I may have a problem LOL

The performance isn't great on *Straight To Heaven* or *Straight To Heaven Extreme,* but I don't find that *Ursa* lasts or projects much more. Maybe another hour or 2? But that's it. Also *Ursa* has a fecal, "barnyard" quality for a couple hours that I'm not into. I still have a sample. I'll try it out again. @7:36 *Straight To Heaven Extreme* is limited edition and only comes in the full presentation at $325. You can find the original *Straight To Heaven* on discounters around $130-150 range (for the refill).
I can see Ursa being animalic I agree and it's coming from the Leather but the end result of the fruitiness is so rewarding to me. But don't get me wrong I love all three! :)
Apparently Straight to Heaven has fallen victim to many copies, but it's a very weak one. Next to zero performance. Extreme discontinued. BTW, Kismet by Maison Alhambra is almost identical to Straight to Heaven. Kilian is not what it used to be, I loved him better when he was independent.
OK it’s better for you, but for me they are completely different fragrances! Can’t compare them since they smell nothing alike! Sure they both use patchouli but stops there. 😀
I almost blind bough TIZIANA TERENZI URSA after watching this video and I am so glad I did not. I was able to find it and test it at my local Saks. TIZIANA TERENZI URSA is similar to Straight to Heaven but it smells like you are wearing Straight to Heaven inside a Cigar shop. If you like that then buy it, I could not stand that overpowering tobacco note. It completely ruined that Straight to Heaven DNA.

I used to own StH. Bought it in 2013...it lasted me for 2 years. And now I’m enjoying Ursa. For the price per ml at discounters, Ursa is a no brainer.

If you check on Fragentica and do a comparison Ursa has way more notes in it than the Kilian Straight to heaven so it makes it more complex I guess.
