Something I noticed while reading this chapter:
Oda likes to mirror the past - with the younger generation carrying on the will of the older generation.
Luffy is the D that will carry on Rogers will. Luffy's main rival is Blackbeard who is also a D. We expect them to finally clash on the hidden island of Raftel. In the past, Roger and Rocks were rivals and both had the name of D. Both clashed on a hidden island. The past is repeating itself. Blackbeard is even now on the island beehive where Rocks formed his crew.Just like how Luffy is carrying on Roger's will, it's now heavily implied that Blackbeard is carrying on Rocks' will. Blackbeard is related to Rocks somehow.

Oh yeah, Xebec is the name of Blackbeard's ship, it was in his Vivre Card (i don't know the name in english but here, the name is translate by "Xebec's Sword") and he's on the Island of the Rocks' crew (Beehive). We first heard about that Island... In the Long Ring Long Land arc, during the Davy Back Fight (funny you talked about it at the beginning of your review 😁)
I think Oden was the second commander of the Whitebeard's Pirates, that's why Thatch said to Ace that the place was empty for long

My dude, not only does Blackbeard have his headquarters in Rocks' island, but his ship is named after him too "The Saber of Xebec". People think that maybe Rocks' had the Yami Yami no Mi and that's why Blackbeard knew about it and wanted it, maybe he's his model. Or maybe.... he could be his own son! Rocks was defeated 38 years ago and Blackbeard is 40. And that would mean that Rocks' son and Roger's son fought against each other and they were both in Whitebeard's ship. That's pretty crazy but knowing Oda, it could be possible.
Definitely a possibility! I'm even more excited to find out more about BB's past if that's the case.
Waited all day for this reaction. Your reactions always seem very relatable, I felt similarly about the bounties. . Waited sooo long for these bounties but at the same time I didn't want to find out now that we've reached this point... Kinda feels like awesome dessert being served in between the appetizer and the maincourse....still hell a tasty though.

Yo king, I have a theory listen to this..
Mihawk and Imu sama dont just share their eye shapes.. They both can recognize influential people(much like Duke Hyou from kingdom, an instinctual-type general, can recognize where the flames start and counter accordingly).. Like when mihawk noticed that luffy is dangerous because everyone gathers around him to help him, Imu sama has the same ability, that's why the gorosei asked imu "Whose light you want to be snuffed out of this world" because he has the ability to recognize who poses danger to the world government and that happened to be vivi for some reason.. So I think Mihawk and Imu are connected

We're entering end game. For 10 years that I've been watching/reading one piece I never really felt how close we are to the end until this chapter. Oda is setting up the final moves of all the different forces in the one piece universe. When I'm old I'll think back to the time when one piece was still on going and just reminisce about how I reacted each week reading a new chapter and the anticipation for the next. I'll also think about how great this one piece community is. I'm really gonna miss one piece when it ends.

Many things makes sense like back then in Drum Island with Blackbeard being there... He was probably there to speak with Kureha about stuff related to the ancient weapons and D's or tried to recruit her, she probably met Xebec at one point... The thing I want to know is if Shanks is a Tenryuu or half of it or is someone realted to Im-sama and if he was in God Valley and after that battle Rogers took him in to protect him (because of his personality and being someone related to the WG or Tenryuu or Im). This also means that probably when roger and whitebeard faced each other newgate probably took care of Teach and since teach (could be Xebec son) means that at one point when roger and newgate faced off Teach made those scars on shanks... because of something he has or did or did say and made shanks off guard. His bounty is insane what did he do to get to those numbers, or was it because of his status in the world has neutral Pirate just enjoying life... Man what Sengoku said in the last panel I've been wondering about that, does that mean that the WG knew about Ryuma? Could this mean that Ryuma defeated probably someone very powerful from the Tenryuubito or WG back then...
