There is a contradiction here. She tells one tale, the sons' fates tell quite another. I saw 'White Christas' when it first hit the screen. It was total luxury. I enjoyed the "Road" pictures, too. But, Bing was always smarmy.
The record single of White Christmas that came out in 1942 is not the true first record single. Originally, the song first appeared in a six disk record album of The Holiday Inn. The six disk album came out months before the record single did. And on one of those disks from that six disk album IS White Christmas. The b side is Let's Start the New Year Right (which is the same b side as the regular record single that came out after the six disk album did). I know this because I unknowingly at first bought the record single that came from that album and learned that it was released on June 1, 1942. Then I found out that the regular record single was released a few months later.

Only the one son wrote negatively about his father in a book that has been queried over the years. The other sons acknowledged Bing's faults but mainly defended their father in statements under "Crosby family blasts book" after its release.
@@misterhot9163 , two of his sons from his first marriage committed suicide. The two from his marriage to Kathy Grant are still alive. One was playing in a band and living in NYC
Darling
She looks great. I remember when she appeared on Dallas and other shows in the 70s. I thought she was beautiful then.
Ledge Edge she does not look good, look at her nasty face, to much plastic.
Why did Bing's sons say he was a bad dad and abused them? She says he was a wonderful father. Someone is lying
Only one son wrote badly about him. The other three admitted his faults but made statements defending him after the books release.
@@mitzymoo3151 yes I remember that sad if Bing did abuse them we'll never know
@@theresaholguin699 There is a great article under redeeming Bing Crosby, it is a 2017 item, the reason I like it is because it talks about some of the mistruths associated with Bing since he passed and explains the how's and why's of these claims. Bing probably wasn't the best dad first time around but I've no doubt he loved his boys and his gorgeous first wife dixie. I love the whole entire Crosby family and think they were all and are talented, beautiful people.
It’s possible to have different perspectives.
@@theresaholguin699his son needed to sell books. Use your head.
Too bad he wasn't DAD to his 3 sons from his first wife!!! While he was dreaming if a white Christmas they were dreaming if a FATHER!!!
Very sad for the first 4. 2 of them committed suicide.
Interesting as his son Phillip says the opposite. So who to believe?
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phillip_Crosby
Autumn in Virginia 4 sons not 3
I m love
There is a contradiction here. She tells one tale, the sons' fates tell quite another. I saw 'White Christas' when it first hit the screen. It was total luxury. I enjoyed the "Road" pictures, too. But, Bing was always smarmy.
Plastic surgery or not, she looks good.
She really does....👍👍...✌💨🏃
Those lips though
She looks the same as she did in the 80s. Wow!
Uh.....
Too bad he forgot his 1st family.
Or maybe folks in the press don't want to spend time reporting on what his son Phillip from his first wife said...
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phillip_Crosby
bullshit!
Bing Crosby was my 10thcous 5xrem..
Terrible lips! She has a very different story then that of her brothers!
Her half brothers or full brothers? That is the question . Also Botox should be illegal.
@@Jay-vr9ir She doesn't look anything like her parents or siblings!!!
@@brigittebeltran6701 She looks like the oldest of her brothers (not the steps). She resembled him more before she went "under the knife", first time many years ago, when I thought she was far too young and way too pretty to do so.
Her lips like pornographic..✌💨🏃
She’s a very nice lady - she doesn’t need another critique - she looks great- it’s her life people- 💚
But why was he so horrible to his sons by his first wife?
Or why do we not hear what his son Phillip had to say? Maybe scandal and dragging someone through the mud is easier for the press to sell

Her lips are hard to look at
Marilyn Skrepich Rude.
I was a bit shocked at the plastic surgery she had. She looks quite different, but still lovely.
But oh, so soft!
Her lips have always looked like that. Look it up. Beautiful woman !
Elaine Clements Finn : Sorry to disagree, but she started with the plastic surgery before her “Dallas” days. She was very pretty without anything needing to be altered. The pressures of Hollywood..........
I simply wouldn't have recognized her except for her lips and voice. Six boys...I didn't know that.
Bing was a very handsome guy. I wish the family would have those letters published in a book.
Some of them are in a recent book by Gary Giddin’s. It’s an excellent book and extensively covers Bing’s war work.
Nice interview, but why, oh why did she do that to her face?
Granny like mother like daughter, her mother Kathryn has also freshened herself up a bit too much trying to look like she once did. Didn't quite get the desired effect.
Granny Read about her before assuming.
Because on her ...it doesn't look bad.

Bing was awful to the 5 bots from his first marriage
Carol Ann Johnson, don’t be so gullible.
Four not five, and please don't believe all of the negativity surrounding Bing. Some maybe true but a lot is rubbish.
Was he now? Funny how the press skips over what his son Phillip said. But then, Phillip didn't write a book to make money on his dead parents.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phillip_Crosby
No he wasn't.
They were bad bots.
MTF...She was one of the boys...
I wonder if she was aware of the way her father treated his first family and those boys he had with Dixie Lee? I loved Bing Crosby and have watched every movie he starred in but it is sad to hear the stories of his first family and those poor boys!
Or maybe, the press never chooses to repeat what his son (from the first marriage) Phillip said. But then, he never wrote a book to make money off his dead parents
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phillip_Crosby
She knew, she said in another interview that so was so happy that she got a better dad, one who was home more. I thought it was kind of crappy to say when there’s at least 1son left of the 4, there might be 2 not sure.
His first son's lied.
Except for the lips she looks good.
Why did she go under the knife?
where'd she get the satchel mouth?
Interesting since his sons claimed he was a horrible fsther.
That’s what I kept thinking, because I heard that years ago his son said that....
His first 4 sons all had issues of one sort of another. Bing himself said he was not a very good father. He worked a great deal and was a strict parent .their mother Dixie was an alcoholic that drank heavily while pregnant and was not a great mother either. Many reports were she had mental health issues.
He was brutal to his sons
These things happen in many familes. In my family my mother adored my two brothers. She was physically abusive to my sister and myself almost to the point of homicide. My brothers she never raised a hand on. My sister and myself were also emotionally abused and neglected by her.So we grew up believing we were the problem. We also saw the value she put into our brothers as males. We grew to believe in male superiority.Like Crosby my mother was well mannered, well, groomed ,well spoken. No one would ever take her for what, she was behind closed doors.A monster.
@@TheTourmaline57 He was totally different with his 'second' family!! Maybe because of his wife, whom he also treated differently than his first! ( 'Sorta' like Jerry Lewis' situation, that everyone is ragging on him about!)
They need to take a look at ole Bing too!!
I can’t even hear what she’s saying, just looking at those lips !
It's all I noticed on the thumb nail so I had to click.
awww.....She shot J.R.
The lips made her do it!
Did she fall into the vat at Axis Chemicals?
I wonder what he would have thought of his baby girl being known as the woman who shot J.R.?
Rosemary Magrino OMG, THAT’S who that is?
Crosby was abusive with 1st family. Not 2nd. She’s her mama’s mini me!
Not true. He was strict but he and his wife loved their boys. Look at both sides of the equation.

Here's the thing: The British outlawed bear baiting not so much for the bears, but because humans enjoyed it. After all, look at people who pose with deer, etc. that they have killed, putting antlers up on walls; Marlins they have caught.
Here's an idea: raise the money to take all the animals hunted down and ship them to other areas in the world where they would be safe.
Did he ever sing a song that mentions Jesus?
The 'Little Drummer Boy' with David Bowie. His last Christmas special before he died. That song is famous.
