    Wearing my sample of this today! Once it settles on me it is the perfect spring scent. As you know I'm keen on those magnolia scents and that comes out on my skin a lot. Great review thank you!:)

    You know I love my florals, haha. But I can't help but agree that this stuff would be furthermore gorgeous off of a woman.
    Great stuff as always, Pete. Salute, brother! =]

    Lovely review! I think a good floral fragrance for you to try out next could be Teazzure by Guerlian. Really nice citrus and white floral fragrance I think you may enjoy.

    Beautiful, nuanced review. You’ve made me want to give this a second chance as I’m a little afraid of white florals. Thank you!

    I like white florals as long as they’re not too heavy. It sounds very nice the way you describe it and surely worth trying. Thanks for the review.

    I had the pleasure of smelling the hole range in Amsterdam a month ago, unfortunately i was disappointed with them all, i found so much hype surrounding this brand I think I was over expecting it and it didn’t live up to my expectations. Thanks Peter for a another great review

      Trust your own opinion, take “hype” with a pinch of salt

    You, and Alora and Vivian are among the very few i trust with perfume/scent reviews/descriptions. Not many people are very honest, i guess to not hurt the crafter's feelings. I hope i get a chance to soon give it a sampling. 😊

    I remember Sebastian Jarra going crazy about this too and I rarely see such enthusiasm on his videos. I can't wait for my sample to arrive...I wanna smell this bad boy/ girl!

      He’s got an almost polar opposite opinion to me most of the time

      I've just received my sample from Dusita and the scent turned out to be very different from what i had in mind.
      I have very limited experiences with lilies in general and i've only smelt the oriental pinkish lilies (the one that smells super dodgy...i can't stand it). The way I interpret it, it smells like a combination of very dominant galbanum and a spicy floral (carnation comes to mind) with a backbone of green sandalwood. This scent evokes the spirit of old spice to me (I know it sounds weird).

    I am thankful for you showing me this. I get to learn about frags that I don't get to see or smell. Thanks and best regards James Underwood

    Awesome scent, but break all my thoughts about nice perfumes. I chose it for my wedding.

    Nice review! Was thinking of purchasing it for my wife but sillage and projection for me needs to be stronger at that price point.
    Will you be doing a review of Russian Musk anytime soon ?

    I came here because I respect your opinion the most; do you know anywhere (ebay) that is worth buying oud wood chips just to get an idea of what it's like without spending hundreds of dollars? Are the agarwood chips on Ebay a scam?
    Or perhaps any basic Arabian oud parfums that I can get a taste of something like Ensar's oud, If I had 500$ laying around I'd just jump on Ensar's but I'm looking for a compromise, so I can experience the basic and pure smell of oud while I can still pay rent lol
    For parfums available to me I'm thinking;
    Montale - Aoud Musk
    or
    YSL - M7 Absolu
    (I dont want rose, or talcum powder overpowering it which I've read M7 might be powdery old ladyish and Black Aoud is rosey)
    Really appreciate it my friend, Cheers!

      I can promise neither of those perfumes contain even a drop of real Oud.. all synthetic. Not too sure on other reliable sources for the agarwood, the real is expensive, I’d never trust eBay, a lot of fake stuff around

    • @sweetfeat1
      @sweetfeat1 6 років тому

      Thanks man, I'd agree with you ( I think) , since posting that comment I drove around to test out both of those fragrances, as well as Bvlgari (smelled fake), Versace (fake), Aqua di parma (fake? the salesman swore on his life they use real oud but I was like - mmmmmkay), Le labo (this was suppppper barn yardy even if it was fake it smelled like a bottle of feces), Tom Ford (Tabacco oud, smelled synthetic as well), By Killian (Black Oud was pretty dirty like Le Labo), and a few other niche fragrances at Saks - none of them seemed very authentic, and they all just smelled synthetic.... I don't know where to start from however because I can't be sure what real oud smells like. Ahh also tried Oud Ispahan by Dior...
      Do you think I got a even a slight inclination of what oud is? because out of all of those I wouldn't wear any of em'

    • @sweetfeat1
      @sweetfeat1 6 років тому

      I also tried Royal Oud by Creed, albeit it smelled nothing like barnyard or medicine (my expectation of oud)- it's quite nice of a frag

      P.S sorry for randomly posting this on this video that has nothing to do with Agarwood oils, but I can't seem to find anyone online I trust other than you

    • @FragranceView
      @FragranceView  6 років тому

      Non of the ones mentioned there will give you any clue to what real Oud oil smells like... you're right in thinking they are all synthetic. My suggestions is to buy the smallest size sample possible from Ensar, and try out a quality one.. They have a Sale on at the moment, so the prices are reduced.
      You could get a 0.3g Vial for as little as $27. It's expensive for a small amount, but at least you know it's the best quality and it's natural - I think they offered a 10% discount if you put FragranceView in the comments when you order if that helps.. I am presuming it's still running, the posted it in the comments on one of my older videos - Or try out Nikhil from the Channel Exotic Scents and ask him, he's very well versed in Oud oils
