I was amazed on things when Marsh blink his eye and laughed when he’s walking back into the dogout and what he did with the cup after winning. That shows that they don’t really care about the result. Just play the best game as possible(take wickets/ make runs) without any sense of pressure. I think that’s the main thing lacking in Indian team which they didn’t experience throughout the tournament. That’s how Australia is winning the cups by the mindset and playing through the conditions.

First, respect to Pat Cummins who fulfilled his words of silencing the crowd and winning the cup. Silencing a group of 120,000 people cheering against you is not a damn easy task!! The way Australia soaked the pressure is really appreciable. The field setup in the middle overs and the partnership of Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne playing under pressure when the team was 47/3 in less than 7 overs has contributed a lot in winning against an unbeaten host team India. On the other hand, as an Indian, I feel very bad for our team that has given its 100% in the tournament but still not won the World Cup. It has been a year but the pain of losing World Cup at home is different. I hope we will win either the 2027 WC or the 2031 WC which is scheduled to host again in India.

I was amazed on things when Marsh blink his eye and laughed when he’s walking back into the dogout and what he did with the cup after winning. That shows that they don’t really care about the result. Just play the best game as possible(take wickets/ make runs) without any sense of pressure. The way Australia soaked the pressure is really appreciable. The field setup in the middle overs and the partnership of Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne playing under pressure when the team was 47/3 in less than 7 overs has contributed a lot in winning against an unbeaten host team India.
On the other hand, as an Indian, I feel very bad for our team that has given its 100% in the tournament but still not won the World Cup. It has been a year but the pain of losing World Cup at home is different. I hope we will win either the 2027 WC or the 2031 WC which is scheduled to host again in India.
