thank you, Lord, for the Church you gave us, and for the baptism we receive in the Church! Thanks, Professor!
@@tony1685 have you heard about Communion of Saints? We ask Mary to pray for us to Lord, and not pray to her. You should study the Church history to learn how certain practices were changing according to circumstances, it's very unpractical to submerge people in baptism pond in cold countries. God bless you
@@tony1685 I LOVE prot trolls who claim to have been Catholic at some point, like that means anything at all. All it means is that you never were taught the Faith, otherwise you would still be Catholic (if you ever were to begin with).
I know you, Tony. I’ve seen you troll all kinds of other Catholic channels, and all you do is spew uneducated, and completely incorrect nonsense. You claim to be in all kinds of demand to teach the Bible, yet you seem to have all kinds of time to troll Catholic channels. You’re a fraud-just like the man-made, heretical belief system you follow.
@@tony1685 I and many others have tried to argue with you in a spirit of goodwill and have absolutely defended the Holy Catholic Church (the One True Church established by Christ Himself) against your lies and falsehoods.
But, no matter how much truth you are subjected to, you always completely ignore our arguments and just spew more man-made garbage as if we didn’t comment at all, which is totally disingenuous (but also so very typical of lying prots such as yourself).
I find it hilarious that you claim to have all kinds of people in your “church” just clamoring for your Bible instruction, yet you also have all kinds of time to regurgitate idiotic, and easily disproven lies.
You are a sad, lonely, pathetic man who obviously has no life and has to resort to trolling Catholic channels just to have some human interaction. I feel so sorry for you. I’ll pray my Rosary for you.
Great apologetics
@@tony1685 Typical prot troll. The Bible is a *Catholic* book. The Holy Catholic Church decided which books belong in the NT, and compiled the Bible as a whole and gave it to the world.
Even *you* as a trolling prot accept the Holy Catholic Church’s authority by acknowledging the canon of the NT.
You follow a man-made, heretical tradition that has no clue about Holy Scripture. If you did have a clue, you’d be Catholic.
@@tony1685 See? You twist and contort everything-especially Holy Scripture. Did I say the Bible was “written” by Catholics? No. Keep lying and mischaracterizing what people say.
When I said the Bible is a Catholic book (and it is as a matter of history), I meant (and you know it) that the Holy Catholic Church canonized the NT, and compiled the Bible as a whole, giving it to the world. I couldn’t have been more plain, but you just can’t help yourself and lie. You’re pathetic. Most prot sects admit to this, but you’re a member of a cult that is so far out of the norm that even they won’t claim your foolish group as one of their own.
You’re an outlier and have been fooled by Satan. Keep worshipping the evil one. See how that works out for you.
And yes, you do recognize the Holy Catholic Church’s authority. I’ll refer you back to my first paragraph. Have someone read it to you and explain it.
You should also have someone read you the definition of “heretical”, and explain it to you because it fits you and your man-made, anti-biblical, heretical belief system perfectly.
Thank God you have been honoring Saint Paul with your current teachings!!! It’s a blessing to hear from you all!! God bless you all!! Brazilian greetings and thanks!
God sure does work in strange ways, he brought me to you, I’m not entirely sure why
breathtaking interpretation!!
Thank you professor i always so appreciated your teaching
Thanks a lot Prof. for great explanation and deep reflection.
Born-again fundamentalists must be educated about this so they convert to the truth of the gospel.
Thank you so much.
In other words, Old Adam, you’re a dry land without water, if you let the Sea flow into your land, you’ll become a New Adam. Thank you.
I have a question I can’t seem to find an answer to. I understand and agree you must be baptized to inherit the Kingdom of God. However what happens to the Jewish people to whom the promises were first given? If they don’t believe in Jesus as their Messiah and Christ, what happens to them at the hour of their death. I appreciate it very much if you could answer my question. God bless you and I absolutely love your explanations and look forward to them every day.
"I tell you, many will come from east and west and will eat with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, while the heirs of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
(Matthew 8: 11-12)
IT IS CALLE the baptism of desire. Only a sacramental ritual without perfect teaching is useless;an example, R.Hoess, SS Commander of Auschwitz or many Communist Army Officers baptizing and participating in Church's ceremony marriages.
It occurs to me: Wouldn’t Jesus and Nicodemus have spoken in Aramaic? And if so, would there still have been the same type of play on words with the “from above/again” dichotomy? Or was John the evangelist, who wrote it in the Greek, making a theological point? Or something else??
The volume for this video is very low compared to your other videos.

Luke 3,16 "He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit" Mark 1,8 "He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit" Matthew 3,11 "He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit" John 1,33 "He is the One baptizing with the Holy Spirit" Acts 1,5 "but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit" Acts 11,16 "you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit" Acts 19,6 "And when Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them" 1 Corinthians 12.13 "For in one Spirit we were all baptized" Baptized with the Holy Spirit = filled with the Holy Spirit. Compare Acts 1,5 "but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit" with Acts 2,4 "they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues" or Acts 4,31 "they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly"
I see the troll showed up as always
You are not born again when you are baptized (btw sprinkling an infant with water is not baptism, no where in the Bible is a baby baptized. Biblical baptism is always for people who are old enough to believe - Acts 8:36-37).
The Bible is clear that you are born again when you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. When you do this, then you are born of the Spirit.
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." - John 1:12-13
"That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise" - Ephesians 1:12-13
Or do you think Paul was lying when he said this?
"I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius... For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect." - 1 Corinthians 1:14,17
The gospel is found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. You'll notice that water baptism (or any supposed "sacraments" for that matter) is not included in the gospel.
I know it has been a long time since you posted this, but let me ask you this: As a Christian Do you have to be baptized in order to be saved?
@@elreyhats Hi Israel, God bless you, thanks for commenting.
No, you do not have to be water baptized in order to be saved. There are hundreds of verses in the Bible that say it's our faith in Jesus' blood atonement (on the cross) that saves us, not any physical works we do.
"“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
"Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law." - Romans 3:28 KJV
The thief on the cross in Luke 23:40-43 is the classic example of someone who we know went to Heaven and was not water baptized. All he did while hanging on that cross was realized his own sinfulness and inability to save himself (repentance) and then he turned to Jesus and said "Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom" (faith).
That being said, after a Christian is born again/saved (John 3:3, Ephesians 1:12-13, Romans 10:13) by placing their trust solely in the Lord Jesus Christ, then they should be water baptized by immersion as a witness to others that they are now identifying with Christ.
This is what we see in Acts 8:36-38. First comes the faith in Jesus Christ (i.e. salvation), then comes the water baptism of the new believer.
"And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him." - Acts 8:36-38 KJV
Oh the BIBLE is so clear so you ended up with 30,000+ denominations ALL claiming to be born-again. WAKE UP
LOL!!! JESUS CHRIST IS NOT A RELIGION!!!!!!!!!!
Your LOL shows that you are ignorant
