- Welcome to my walkthrough series of Pokemon Stadium 2! In this playthrough, I will cover the gameplay of all the Pokemon Stadium 2 Cups (including Pokemon Stadium 2 R2): Johto Gym Leader Castle, Kanto Gym Leader Castle, Poke Cup, Prime Cup, Challenge Cup, Little Cup, and the final showdown against The Rival: the final boss of this game! I really hope you enjoy this Pokemon Stadium 2 no commentary series.

Prime Cup (Japanese: ウルトラカップ Ultra Cup) is one of the four Stadium Cups in Pokémon Stadium and Pokémon Stadium 2.
In Pokémon Stadium, the Prime Cup is the only Cup that does not originate from Pokémon Yellow's Colosseum 2. Instead, it is based on the regular Colosseum battles, which have no special limitations. As a result, all Pokémon, including powerful Legendary Pokémon such as Mewtwo, are allowed. There are no level restrictions in the Prime Cup, so all of the opponents will have level 100 Pokémon.
This is the only area in the Pokémon Stadium series where the elusive Mew and Celebi can be found. In Pokémon Stadium, the male Cooltrainer will have a Mew during the final battle of the Prime Cup division, while Cooltrainer Marty will have a Mew during the Round 1 Prime Cup in Pokémon Stadium 2. Likewise, Cooltrainer Marty will have a Celebi during the Round 2 Prime Cup in Pokémon Stadium 2. Also, Mew will be available as a rental Pokémon for Pokémon Stadium's Round 2 Prime Cup, while Mew and Celebi will be available as rentals in Pokémon Stadium 2's Round 2 Prime Cup.
In Pokémon Stadium, there are four levels of difficulty: Poké Ball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, and Master Ball. In Pokémon Stadium 2, there is only one level of difficulty. _____________________________________________

That semifinal was epic. Especially with the help of Team Rocket music.
This is incredible. I thought this was impossible and then just beat it on the first try with your lineup. Every battle pretty much mirrored yours, move by move. Predicting the switch on the final battle is awesome. I also used your video in pokemon stadium 1. That one was easier because it was capped at L20 instead of L5 so you could teach a gyrados dragon rage

Hey chrisPTY507. I used the same rental team you used and after 5 to 6 tries, I beat the Little cup r-2. My battle with Rex was similar to yours. I started out with elekid and rex started with slowpoke. Then, I switched out with totodile and the n suddenly he sent out elekid. I immediately switched out totodile with phanpy and then after he used ice punch. I knocked out elekid with earthquake. He sent out slowpoke and then I weakened slowpoke with earthquake and then he knocked me out. I sent out elekid and knocked it out with thunderpunch. The last pokemon he sent out was porygon. I landed a critical hit on porygon with trhunderpunch and pory gon used tri attack on elekid. I used thunderpunch again on porygon and reduced its HP to 10 and then he knocked elekid out with tri attack. Totodile was my last pokemon and it was at full health. Porygon used psychic on totodile and then I finished it off with surf and I won. Great strategy there. You're the best.
It's very hard finish this in R-2 with rentals, need too much luck for success, that marril have you with surf but throw ice punch xD nice work bro, with luck or not is very very hard pass it with rentals
Yeah its very hard to run this cup with rentals. and also extremely annoying, you have to be very patient
Funny how you're using Mankey because I'm currently playing a new game of Pokemon Moon and I'm hunting for a Mankey with jolly nature. Nice video. Only two more left
I feel like it would take so much work to get Egg move pokemon, so I tried this cup 3 times with rentals.... And I need to vent, lol.
Every single time that I tried I would lose to trainer 3 or 5.
That stupid swager move that trainer 3 uses, + Mankeys cross chop with 80% acuracy is such a coin flip. You either sweep trainer 3 with 3 cross chops, or miss, hit yourself with confusion, and lose. No inbetween.
And trainer 5 is so annoying with Chikorita and Maril and their heals plus berries. I made it to the trainer #5 all 3 times, and Chikorita would ALWAYS paralyze Abra with body slam, and then I couldn't get a 2nd Psychic off 😭 and well, the rest was just history. The Chikorita was just too OP 😭
Gonna have to try wxactly what you did 4 years ago and just hope for the best 😂 I love and hate this game!
I completely understand your frustration! Egg move Pokémon can indeed require a lot of effort to obtain, especially for specific moves. It sounds like you've encountered some tough challenges in the cup with those trainers and their strategies. Sometimes, the RNG elements can be quite unforgiving.
It's great that you're still enjoying the game despite the challenges. Best of luck with your future attempts, and I hope you achieve the results you're aiming for!

god i hate this so much. they bring every troll move like attract, swagger, etc. but also have all good moves like hydro pump fire blast. so much luck involved. nice that you did this with rentals though and no items.

@@ChrisPTY507 there are players that it has taken up to more than 50 attempts a youtuber mexico in the challenge cup I spent it in 27 attempts in the challenge cup master ball and I only passed it in 4 in the second season

Can the AI cheat any harder? Looking at the stat comparisons, this team should be faster than some, and yet the opponent is faster half the time
Edit: I was finally able to beat this after close to 20 tries. I got really unlucky. The final time I still did the same pokemon, but I swapped the items around. Totodile with a berry and Mankey with a bitter berry were perfect

@@ChrisPTY507probably because the game likes sucking the computer off lol. The computers pokemon seems to have perfect stats, great moves, and all the luck. In challenge cup i once lost because i was paralyzed 4 turns in a row. Another time i lost because i flinched 5 turns in a row. That seems fair :/
