- Katy Jinkins, a PhD student in Materials Science and Engineering, presents her Three Minute Thesis on Nov. 29, 2018. Judges selected Jinkins as the 1st place winner of the competition.
The fall 2018 UW-Madison Three Minute Thesis was hosted by the Madison Chapter of Graduate Women in Science (GWIS) and the Graduate School Office of Professional Development, with sponsor support from the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, Gilson, American Cleaning Institute, and the Wisconsin Initiative for Science Literacy.
