I used to work in the nutrition department at the hospital you were at but at there other location in the southwest. I may be wrong but they are the best hospitals in the nation especially for cardiac. I always felt bad for our patients that were put on the cardiac diabetic diet. There are a few worse diets though. We served many turkey sandwiches and fruit cups. Sorry your meal experience wasn’t good there. Hope you are feeling better.

Interesting that they wouldn't give you jelly, but peanut butter actually raises your blood sugar and keeps it elevated...smh.
