thank you for addressing this issue with moto service centres, I myself have moto g52 bought during sale in 2022 and last year in 2023 the green line issue came, at first one, two then many lines came, so took it to service centre which was 70 km one way. and it turned out to be not a service centre, they said they are moto service centre but due to less customers they have made a repair shop. so I submitted the phone after a week or 10 days I got call from the actual service center they addressed the issue and I got the phone after 25days. thank God it was in warranty and it was my mom's phone. but after it came back every one and then I get to see a ghost touch issue like the screen does activities automatically recently received android 13 (so late) yet I have this issue. no doubt they are making what seems like value for money phones but they have reliability issue.

Issues i have faced with my moto g54-
1. WhatsApp notification delay and also sometimes message wont go, also happens with Instagram
2. Sometimes calls wont be recieved and it will say missed call
3. It will sometimes miss alarms, and say that alarm is missed, this is very irritating because i will get late because of this
4. It will automatically switch to low audio quality on Spotify and say it cant be changed since data saver is on even if its not
5. Very poor battery backup and charging speed
Ive tried everything from reinstalling apps to playing with settings and nothing fixes these issues, honestly very less effort is given by motorola on software side and by the things are going its not gonna get fixed. So please buy some other phone

The same happened with me too. After sales service of this Chinese brand is the worst. When it happened for the first time, I went to the service center and it took them 8 days. I somehow managed for 8 days, I was without phone.
The camera again started getting cloudy substance from inside of the phone after 4-5 days (even after i got my phone repaired from the service center)
Again i called them and addressed my issue, they are not even replying me now. I lodged my complaint on 9th December, 2023. It has been more than 1 month. Neither are they replying to my emails, nor my phone calls are getting picked up by the service center.
Don't go for Motorola, there are many different companies which offer better service in the same price range.
PS: And yes I mailed on that email ID written in this video's description but seems like moto doesn't give a f. You know I never used to carry cash with me, but I'm at this point where I am not even able to make online payments because the camera can't even scan the QR code.
Also Motorola asked me to replace my G54 with G62. Why would I replace my device with G62? That model is discontinued now!! They kept telling me that G62 is the alternate model of G54. They really think that every customer is dumb.

Fortunately, I Study in Delhi so here service centre repaired it in 3 days but I don't have any other device and exams are going on so how can we access to online material !! Company need to understand this

This was the reason this time instead of specs I prioritized service centre availability and experience therefore I avoided this phone and settled with a less spec heavy phone from realme Glad I did it

@@JtJones I had redmi note 10 pro most solid phone but hardware quality issues from the company the front camera got dead which eventually was fixed by service centre but after a lot of harrasment and time and energy by my side also even after getting it fixed I always had a constant fear of the phone getting bricked anytime and sadly enough the phone got stolen 4 months back and this time I avoided moto because of service centre availability and experience

Moto has earned my trust in the past, but denying service is just evil. So many people rely on these brands but after sales service is a problem for almost all brands. Government really needs to step up for consumer rights.

My brand new Motorola g54's camera got blurry!
So, I bought this Motorola g54 phone for a cool ₹16,000, right? And guess what? After just 2 weeks, the camera lens started getting all blurry!
I treated this phone like my baby - always in a case, super careful. So, this blurry lens thing was a HUGE shock. I took it to the service center for warranty, but they said it's my fault and not covered! That meant paying ₹1,200 for repairs and waiting a whole month!
Basically, my brand new phone cost me ₹17,200 (phone + repair) all because of a wonky camera lens. Not cool, Motorola!
But hey, there's a good story too! Turns out, iPhone 15 lens protectors fit the Motorola g54 perfectly! Just ₹100 and my camera lens is finally protected.
So, here's the deal:
Motorola g54's camera might get blurry easily.
Don't count on warranty for camera issues.
Get a lens protector ASAP! It's cheap and saves you stress.
Motorola, please fix your camera lenses! Until then, buyers beware!

After sales service is always a hassle, especially with Motorola. Khud experience kara hai yeh maine, college mein tha tab, aur college se 50+ km dur service centre thaa, jaise taise gaya thaa mai ek baar apna phone leke, mere Moto G3 mein side se screen ka glue hatt gaya thaa toh boley theyy ki 2 hafte baad milega theek hokar, poori screen replace karni hogi, Aisa bola thaa.😂
Baad mein I came back to my hometown, got it fixed for free at a local shop.😅

Lekin achha laga dekh kar ki koi to hai jo logon ki problems ko sun raha hai or solve kar raha hai.
This is also the case Moto g72 i bought it 6 months back , at first when the camera start clicking blurry pics i thought that i didnt clean the lens properly .. when eventually things got worse and now the situation is i cant click pics any more ..i go to some local repair shops to clean the lens through alcohol but after i watched i came to know that its not a stain ....i search for a moto service centre but there is no nearby service centre available for me...i completely confused what to do with the phone now...although the camera and feature it offerr at this price is really impressive but after sale service of Moto is still lacking behind as we compared with other smartphone brands .. i want to switch to other moto phone like edge 40 neo but after the service i get ...i need to think twice..if anybody find any solution for it please let us know

I am getting this bcz there's no better alternatives in this price range, that ticks most of my requirement boxes.
What do you think is the exact reason for this issue in the camera lens? Is it may be due to the heat generated inside? Or due to outside moisture and dust causing the coating to erode?
And can it be prevented by installing camera lens protectors or with covers that have toggle-able camera protection?
Bcz I think even if we replace the camera lens, this issue will again come back..
so is there a way to address the root cause from our(consumer) side?

in my analysis this is present in first few units maybe due to faulty lens coating materials or techniques used. I really hope motorola changes it going forward

Don't buy any Moto phone.I am using g54 very poor network reception at the same time all other devices such as Vivo oppo mi runs smooth

hii I regretted so much and got depressed after watching the SAURAV ANURAJ video on camera comparision of Moto g84 vs Samsung M 34/ F 34 , the conclusion was Moto G84 has better camera for night picture and video stabilisation and quality ,

I bought first time Motorola g2 and i used for 3 years and that was my great experience. After that i bought moto g4 plus by Lenovo. Just after six months camera lens of the phone become very scratchy. Picture of phone was very blury. I asked company to change it because it was under warranty but they denied and asked for 2200 around for replacement of lenses. Same problem my friend was facing because we both bought phones togather.
After that i never buy Moto.

I'm using moto g40 with very rough use i always have a doubt on g84 that how this phone came chip price but now I think why I was willing to switch on g84 but now I'll wait because I want phone with clean UI and ad free I'm still satisfied with g40 as phone many times drop in ladakh tour nothing happened slip from the hand drop from the bed my Even survived from my doggy bite only cracked screen protector so phone should be like g40 but features like g84.
Im one among the person who bought this model moto g84, when it was launched. Same issue i faced in my moto g84 after using it for more than 4 months . I approached service centre and reported the complain . Within 2 weeks i got the camera lens repaired . I hope it will never happen again 😢

I am facing the same issue of camera coating wearing off. Now both lenses are cloudy. I bought Moto G 54 in Nov 2023. The lenses started clouding in two months. I went to BM Gadgets in Pune, they are the authorized service centre. When I showed the lady my phone, she said 'Oh, it's a camera fault'; so casually as if this was a very common problem as they may be getting many phones with the same problem. That's when I realized that many people are facing the same issue. Anyway, they replaced the cameras and their service was quick. When I went to collect the repaired phone, I asked the lady that what's the guarantee that the same problem will not be repeated? She assured me that that it won't happen. But sadly, the same problem is recurring in the replaced cameras. When I called BM Gadgets, they told me to again bring the phone for repair. Although the company is replacing the cameras for free, every time I have to format the phone, use a different handset, re-install all the apps, loss of data etc. I am thinking of selling the phone after repair and never go for Motorola phones.

I visit my area Motorola service centre,they said your mobile drop this service centre after 1 month and call you back later.i was sucking of camera lens replace or repair 1 month time.i have only mobile.nothisg expect of Motorola brand...

"Koee issue nahi hai" that literally happened with me regarding repairing of a pocco f1 display. 😅 they simply denied to replace the display which had ghost touch issues. Chinese brands are giving everything but with zero quality checks and not reliable aftersale service.

Just simply make a video of them and say them that u r going to consumer court for filing consumer case against them that they r not providing replacement
Then see how ur problem will be resolved quickly

I am using this phone and I have also same problem Phone quality best but bakwas service provider for motorolla mobile hope resolved the issue
Same happened with my moto g73 they took my phone for 26 days and give it back without fixing it and they said I don't have any warranty on my phone but it's only 6 months old , I am a university student and every study pdf , ppts was in it , I don't know how I managed to go for classes these days

This issue is not from g82 iske pehle se hai since i had moto one action, also camera lens was very brittle its like normal glass laga dia not even 1st stage hardened.

brother this issue was present in first few units and am sure yours will be fine. But still its better to be cautious and make sure you run to service centre at the earliest signs
I have faced same issue in g4 plus in 2018. Then I came to know how to solve it at home.. but you need to remove to coating and atleast to blurring issue get fixed.
