  • In this video we tour a 2024 Northern Lite 9-6Q truck camper. We were recently at a fiberglass camper rally and had the opportunity to check out a new Northern Lite 9-6. It has beautiful Sapele wood cabinets and trim throughout. We go over some of the upgrades for the 2024 model. Enjoy the tour!
    We hope that you enjoyed our quick weekend getaway and as always, we hope you find our videos useful, informative and entertaining!
    Thanks for watching!

    With all that 12v, they need to put in a 12v compressor fridge, AND a 12V TV. Fun tour:)

      In 2024 you can get a compressor fridge and the TV is 12 volt.

    We are seriously considering a new Northern Lite 610, and selling our bumper pull. We owned a Scout Yoho and loved the freedom it gave us in urban environments.
    Good job guys.

      I was looking at 610 too, but I can't get past the look of the camper setting 10" above the truck sidewalls, looks goofy. Same reason I didn't buy a scout. Good luck

      @@Rdkng07 only way to access the ratchet strap tie-downs. I like the fact it attaches inside the truck bed.
      Had the Yoho on a 1/2 ton chevy, this ( 610) would be on our new 3/4 ton. Plus no hitch extension needed if I want to pull a trailer or boat.

    As always guys, you do a great job detailing all of the various features on all of the truck campers you’ve shown to us. I want to say thank you. All my adult life I’ve wanted a truck camper and it’s still my dream. I enjoy seeing your adventures and all of the great modifications you’ve made to the campers you’ve owned. I just really think you both are so genuine and helpful to your subscribers. Keep up the great work and know that many of us out here just really enjoy watching your videos and seeing what new adventures await you.

    Nice tour. I wish campers would put the dinette on the right instead of the left as the view always seems to be on that side and when pulling off the road the right side is away from traffic. Camp sites usually are back-in and here again the right side would be better for the booth. Maybe it's driven by where the utilities and propane are located, idk.

    Good morning you two! Appreciate your videos! Love those Northern Lites and look forward to the new 6 footer. What do you guys think about a different heating system like the Trumbi combos? My suburban heaters in my truck camper and class c were reliable but noisy. I love the idea of the cirrus radiant heat. Thoughts from you campers on why we aren't seeing more tech?

    Amazing how little difference there is between my 2020 and the ‘24. The biggest thing I like about that one is they widened up the wet bath (narrowed the sink).
    Thing I’d probably hate the most would be the porch on the rear is no longer removable, making it more difficult to tow trailers without hitch extensions.

    Looks the same as my 2021 except I wanted and liked grey stokes. I loved it except I’m 5’2” and even with a 2 step ladder, taking in and out the propane tanks was too much for my back. Sold it for more than I paid for it. Of course I upgraded a few things but still did well. Hoping to get into a small van for part time.

    I’ve noticed the NL has what I’m assuming is a support beam along above the foot of the bed, whereas the Bigfoot doesn’t seem to have any beams across the ceiling at the foot of the bed. The NL beam looks like it would make getting in and out of bed a challenge for us taller guys, I’m afraid I would hit my head on it.

    • @RunawayRoses
      @RunawayRoses  Місяць тому +1

      I don't know of the exact breaker for the Happijac's but if I have seen small breakers in the battery area. They are a little silver box about an inch long and in line with the cable. They may have a little button on the side of it that you can push to reset it. Other than that, I would say look around where the controller is for the Happijac's. It'll be a about a 5x5 inch box that has all the wires for each jack. Maybe you can follow the power wire back till you find the breaker. Hope that helps and good luck! I was wondering if you would have knowledge of a generator compartment.? On my camper, I have a Northstar 8.5 Arrow. Specifically designed for a CHEVY 2500HD. In my generator compartment, i have a 120 VAC PLUG. My question is, if I put some type of generator in that compartment, would a ( so called ) suicide cord be an option ? I am scared to tri it thinking it may backfeed and energize my camper plug when dry camping. Any thoughts ? BTW GREAT REVIEW.
