Great video, the tip about removing the radiator mount bolts is super helpful. I'm actually installing the cpe exhale on my escape. I don't like the flimsy bpv Ford makes and I replaced that with a boomba bov, and I just don't care for it. I have an HKS ssqv on my 300zx that I love, so I'm putting one on my escape. It's a better location anyway, on the intercooler pipe, just before the TB.

I actually went through the same thing with
CP-e two years ago. Took two months to get it. They said they were in the process of moving to a bigger factory and shut down production.

Does the HKS also use a clamp?

Were did you get the cpe charge pipe with bov bung on it. Or did you get it custom done. Getting ready to go big turbo now. Really appreciate it.

It’s the CP-e exhale kit. When you order it you have the option of having the v-band flange for the tial Q bov or the flange for HKS super SQV bov. whichever you choose will come pre-welded on. I ordered mine from edge autosport.

also Rallysportdirect offers both flange styles for the CPE kit

I ordered this kit for the cold side and im wondering if it will be ok if i hook the bov to my sound symposer delete. It comes with the 8mm spring but not sure if i need to buy a new spring or not

It can connect to the sound symposter delete but you will need a smaller inner diameter tubing. The nipple in the symposer delete was too small for the tubing the tial bov came with. The “plain” spring is the correct one for this car. Mine originally came with the white spring and it would stay half open at idle.

What’s up with the 2 couplers with the nipples? What are those vacuum sources used for, and where do you route them to..

    • @JordanMoree

Those are for your boost reference. On the factory turbo the connections are built in and connect directly to the turbo but the new turbo doesn’t have them so you create them with drilling out the couplers.

Hello Moree, I have the Tial Q 50 blow off valve but I don't know which spring I do put for working correctly. My wastegate are adjust at 20 psi, should I do put the 10psi spring, the 11psi or 12 psi in the Blow off valve? thank you :)

If you have a stock ST 2.0 motor the “plain” spring is the one you need. My tial came with the white spring and was staying open during idle. Plain spring keeps it shut at idle

@@JordanMoree My Tial Q 50 came with the 8psi spring. I have the Fusion with the same motor 2.0t ecoboost with the same turbo GTX2867R GEN2 .64 A/R. I will order the plain spring 10psi and will keeps it shut at idle ? thank you

What I would do is put it on and look at it and go from there. But let me tell you I researched the crap out of it. There’s one guy on all the forums (I can’t remember his name) that’s ran every spring and said the “plain” spring is what works for the 2.0L eco boost. And when I swapped em it’s just shut at idle. As soon as you hit the throttle you see it barely move and shut completely. And when released in boost it opens up. Motor should be the same so vacuum should be the same.

@@JordanMoree I have finally install the ATP2867R GEN2 on my Fusion 2.0T with tial BOV and the PLAIN spring (10psi) just like you said and all working well the first time. Thank you very much for your great video and your help Moree :)

hey, so i used the cpe block off plate and put it on where the factory bov is. what do i do with the factory bov vacuum line?

    • @JordanMoree
      @JordanMoree  3 роки тому

Michael Moore remove the line and just cap it up top or leave the line and cap it at the bottom. Find a bolt that fits in and use the factory clamp to go over it.
