that rear reverse triangulated is pretty skookum. never seen it done like that with the uppers being trailing arms. love the outside the box engineering!!!
Great video. Love the humbleness of Casey. Ive been waiting to see how long until certain technologies (like TPMS) would become somewhat mainstream in the offroad racing world. I know they are used in Dakar and the like, but pretty uncommon in most forms (especially here in the US) of offroad racing. Surprised its taking so long, considering tires are such a HUGE factor in finishing, let alone winning, a race. Awesome to see you using the technology. Glad to see onboard fire suppression systems being used (and now required in some instances) more as well. Keep up the good work guys!
i bought the Losi Hammer ray model of your trophy jeep and man i got to say its badass i like the grasshopper suspension you did on the rear of the truck it allows it to roam through the bumps with 0 issues
It’s a badass jeep. I came out to colorado like 15 years ago from buena park. All the jeeps out here have Currie axles! If I could afford it I would have a Currie rear end too!
Please do a break down of your Jeep Gladiator , I just pick mine up and would love to hear your build. If not is there anywhere I can find your build sheet ?
Please give as some info about running on "coast side of gear" : possible damages, maintenance, temperature, small pinion issue, what are the best choices, what we should be aware of! Thanks 👍
Best looking offroad machine I've ever seen, with 4wd! I love this trophy jeep. Can you tell me the full length width and height? I'd like to make an 1/4 rc.
Badass video. Love not only getting into the technical details but also your theory and reasoning for doing things a certain way! Not often you hear the reasoning because the guy talking (driver) doesn't know, lol. I never heard/saw why you didn't start KOH. Was it the T-case?
Hey Casey ! What is the top speed of this Trophy Jeep ? I have The Losi Trophy Jeep and I want to match my speeds to your actual Jeep speed which would be a 1/10 scale rc truck. Thanks
@@charlesluhm2181 I remember some years in Baja where everybody was getting stuck in the silt and the 4x4 guys had to rescue them. I guess they are just rolling the dice on that possibility?
Aaaaaand now I'm off to google info on running the rear end upside down.
Been waiting to see more on this thing, legit.

Absolutely one of my top ten favorite vehicles of all time...
Saw it on the live stream, looks as awesome as it performs.

Will do!
upside down and backwards, i never realized. high clearance, long travel, high speed... what's not to like?
Love it man! That thing is rad.
Thanks!
That rig is sick and I can’t wait too see it podium at KOH someday!!! 🤟🏼👍🏻
this thing is SWEET
Badass machine.

I have been racing this way for 4 years and have won the Baja 1000 3 times. No heat issues and no pinion issues

Amazing race Jeep

He said it split in two, yeah.
@@traviscassidy1869 Guess I figured they'd have a spare 🤷♂️
When it split it took the mounts with it. It was more damage then just t case once it exploded
@@CaseyCurrie Copy!
Awesome build, I’d love to hear more about the live streaming setup you run.
Lol.. it’s a lot.
This is just a Damn cool vehicle !!!
LS baby!!

More details on the cooling systems please !
1 large tranny cooler up front 1 radiator with the bottom 6 inches being oil cooler.
Ahhh hahhh the Trophy Jeep is LS powered that explains why it's an awesome Jeep extraordinary build Casey 😉👍
That’s a nice Jeep. You should drive it in the next Dakar
That would be so much funb
@@CaseyCurrie 🏁
THING IS MINT👍💯👊
Hey what a video, it is easy to share engineering to build some similar, I am big fan thanks
I came from the "worlds best driver movie"
I want to make a long travel s10 any ideas on a good design using stock frame 4x4
💯 🔥 Awesome Jeep 🔥 💯
Awesome rig
Being a Jeep, think they make a Hemi that would do just as good. But Chevrolet is cheeper$$
Cassie, what’s the little bag strapped to the B pillar on the passenger side?
Try running an oil cooler for the difs?
That’s a medical bag. It has supplies in case of an accident.
Will this be in any of the SCORE races this year? I live down in Baja, and would love to come see this thing rip!
its a Jeep thing! 😍😎😎
The trophy jeep is a thing of beauty. Great video. I am just wondering what is the track width and wheelbase?
116 wheel base and 91 inches wide
cASIE 27 29 INCHES OF TRAVEL WITH 4WDvERY VERY ! impressive
🏆🏆🏆👍🙏
Thank you for sharing
Thank you too
Run portals, drive on drive side of gears.
Agree! Just takes money and for someone to make portals.
Awsome video....
Glad you liked it!
I’d like a ride in it!!! 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
What is the standard application for those driveline CV's? They look like a large version of the stock Rzeppa.
They are meant for heavy duty applications
I want one🙁
The Best Trophy!!!💯
what's the wheelbase and width? just in case i wanna build an rc-version.
116 wheel base and 91 inches wide
When racing it do you run it in 4wd all the time or only when you need it...say only in the rock sections ?
I run 4wd all the time. I never run 2wd
Take it to Dakar and kick some butt!
How much would it cost to do something crazy like this to my Tacoma lmao
Minus the 800hp motor
A lot
…quanto mi piace…😳🤩🥰🥰🥰🥰
What or who is motech?
Motec is the brand ECU and PDM I run. It controls my engine Managment and all my wiring management
Fuuuuuuuuuuuck! I want.
I've wondered for a while... Why aren't more racers doing 4x4? Do you feel like it has limited you in any way?
Gas, weight, more maintenance, gearing, upgrade power, but it definitely does help help if you can perfect it.
@@charlesluhm2181 I remember some years in Baja where everybody was getting stuck in the silt and the 4x4 guys had to rescue them. I guess they are just rolling the dice on that possibility?
It’s a lot more expensive
This is a bad dude. Can you elaborate more on the motor program? How big, Ls3 or ls7 heads etc. keep up the good work Casey.
Ya I will do some video on the motor
@@CaseyCurrie nice! I’m excited.
What is the wheel base? Front and rear track width?
117 inches
@@CaseyCurrie thank you Casey
Sweet ride brother.
Thanks 👍
