So we hatched a plan to book ourselves a cheap hotel
In the centre of the city and to raise some hell
Lay waste to all the clubs and then when everyone else is long asleep

Well, I was working on some words when Sarah called me up
She said that Lex had gone asleep and wasn't waking up
And even though I knew that there was nothing to be done
I felt bad for not being there and now, well, she was gone
So I tried to think what Lex would want me to do
At times like this when I was feeling blue
So I gathered up some friends to spread the sad, sad news
And we headed to the city for a drink or two

its amazing seeing frank perform, each song holds a special meaning to him, this song in particular immortalizes a dear friend he lost. Franks Brilliant!
You can see the amount of effort these guys put into the concert, Frank is singing himself down to the bone. Fuck I'd love to catch this man on tour.
Saw him in a small venue in Aberdeen last year. Singing himself down to the bone is just what he does. Every. Single. Time. I don't know how he and the band do it night in-night out but the energy just doesn't drop regardless of what size of show they're playing, it's incredible.

You could put the live versions of his songs next to the studio ones and only be able to tell the difference by some fatigue in his voice and the noise of the crowd. One of the most honest performers both in person and on record.
He’s not only an amazing performer but an amazing song writer.
Very good singer. His song writing is a bit corny depends what you like I suppose.

Awww man, this song has gotten me through some really tough days. I was so sad to have missed frank on tour at a dingy little bar in kelowna. I was all ready to go when I came down with a terrible flu 😷 I still can’t believe that I missed the show. Frank, come back to kelowna, my life will not be complete until I see you live 😜

I wish this was available on its own, I wanted the DVD from the night but I can't afford 60 quid for vinyls I'm not gonna use

He mentioned somewhere that eventually the DVD will be available on its own. My guess is sometime next year.
Also there might be an official download you can buy at some point. Xtra Mile is usually pretty considerate in how they let their fans choose how to buy their stuff, especially since the standard DVD format seems to not work in the US or something.
