- Juliet berates Donna-Marie for her relapse, while James feels partly responsible. Juliet and Donna-Marie then settle their differences, Donna-Marie promises to be strong for Juliet while James apologises to her for what he said and the three of them tell each other it will be okay, although their faces say that they aren't convinced. Later, James feels guilty and tells Ste that he's been selfish, and when Ste tells him he's wrong, and that he's proud of him for how he's fought for his family, James tells Ste that he's manipulated Maxine into helping with Eric's appeal...
Oh boy. Ste doesn't look happy. But I'm glad Donna Marie is getting support from her family.
Oh James! Cmon man! I was rooting for you then you go back to your own bs! Maxine as a character witness for Eric! Are you mad?! I wished that he heard about the opening at that nearby clinic before he took Eric’s offer because he has to see this through now. I’m glad he apologized to DM because she was the one who was holding everything together when Marnie died. She was in his corner through the gambling addiction, Romeo issues, when he had ptsd from being trapped and couldn’t leave the house, DM was there holding him and telling him it was going to be okay. And he couldn’t take a few minutes to console her. He’s always been worried that he would turn into his father yet again he does bs to remind us the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. At least he did start with good intentions though with the whole Eric situation but now it’s getting worse.
