I loved that foie gras-anchovy dish. It blew my mind that, eyes closed, you could have told me it was uni and I would have believed you. That was the real genius of the dish for me. Truly transformative.
Also, please do a Q&A so we can get to meet you behind the scenes! Are you both in the culinary world as chefs or restaurateurs? How did you become so knowledgeable in all things gastronomy? Would love to know more!
Not at all actually, just two people who love food and through eating out often our palate has evolved! Love your Q&A suggestion, we’ll definitely do it at some point :)
What a gorgeous video - I love travel and food so this video was the next best thing to being there! Thank you and I’ll be binge watching the rest of your videos now ❤
Absolutely gorgeous setting! Your videos are so well done! I wish you showed your new rating on the video. I don't feel like going to a website and finding it there. I'm lazy I guess!
So many high-end restaurants look exactly the same but this looks vaguely sci-fi, perfect for a molecular gastronomy restaurant. Love the entire aesthetic of this video & this restaurant.
Yes, such a unique and interesting restaurant! The aesthetics of this restaurant are insane, can't experience this anywhere else in the world! Thanks for watching :)
165 euros is a pretty good deal when you see the effort put into it and the number of employees, the space etc.. I wonder if they are profitable, I know elbulli wasn’t profitable because too much expenses was put into the menu.
The second video where I'm late, as I'm still recovering but damn the content is top notch as always!! Adrian and layla wishing you even more success from a friend! 😀
Great video, definitely deserve more recognition. But I understand my partner does the same type of videos and these video types need to get pushed more.
I usually like your videos a lot. This time i felt you were on a rush, showing everything so fast i had to keep pausing it and going back to understand what you were eating and drinking. Like you really tryed hard to fit an incredible experience in under 10 minutes, like your goal was the time more than to show the experience.
Hi Fernando, thanks for the feedback! It's a delicate balance, sometime people say it's too long, others its too short... we're trying to find our sweet spot, haha! We'll keep that in mind moving forward, though! :)
Hello! Thanks for the reply. To me, when im enjoying an experience, i want it to last longer, not shorter. I understand nowdays some of the audience just wanna rush from one video to the other. Tiktok is ruining everyones lives. If you are trying to grow your channel, know the lengh of the videos are less important than consistency. Posting a video once a week, same day, same time, will assure your channel to your audience. See Mark Wiens channel, he has 10 million subscribers and hes videos are much longer. But the key there is the absolute consistency, besides hes incredible character. See, i only remember your channel when you post a video. Mark Wiens is on my mind many days at the week, not only when he posts it, but when theres no video i remember how many days i still have to wait to watch hes next video. Thats the key. Theres another channel like yours that fell into the trap of thinking shorter videos are the way. Suddenly they started making UA-cam shorts only, until they simply abandoned their channel (www.youtube.com/@andersandkaitlin). Please, dont fall into the same trap. My tip besides consistency is, make every video experience as the own experience calls it to be. Some needs to be longer, some shorter, and thats ok. Sometimes 6 minutes will be more than enough, sometimes youll need 15 minutes. This one for example, it was calling to be bigger. To many details on it. Thats all i have for now. Good luck, wish you the best!
Totally a fair question, and honestly we do have big appetites outside of fine dining! Although these dishes look small, we were definitely perfectly satisfied after all of them.. especially eating over many hours, non stop... you do get full! There are some restaurants, however, where we've had to go get food after meals because we/Laila, is still hungry haha! Not here though.
Nothing new here...same tehniques and flavors from el Bulli 20 years ago.... Like old rockers who come back to play that same music that made them popular.
Albert Adria has actually said he used to be more creative back in the el Bulli days than he is now. No input from Ferran either and I think he was maybe the driving force behind a lot of the new ideas and techniques. I'd still like to experience what Albert is up to nowadays!
4..because what i do in innovative...BTW: I have been to El Bulli more times than you are old..the greatest chef ever is Marc Veyrat..his creativity and use of simple locally sourced products puts everyone else to shame.@@wodkaspirit
Foie gras is usually an instant turn off for me, especially when mentioned excessively. This clip screams inaccessible and nouveau riche. Definitely not on my top five list. Wrong approach.
Thanks for the visit and beautiful video! Congratulations!
Thanks so much Albert :) It was such an honour and pleasure!
Yes, but since most of us did not get to E Bulli then we have a chance to taste and understand what started the molecular cuisine! It's movement!
I don’t know if my taste buds are cultured enough for this exquisite food
Damn, you guys have come a long way from your first few videos. It’s only a matter of time before your channel blows up.
Oh wow! That’s great to hear, always trying to get better :) Appreciate it!
Great to have you back with a new video, happy New Year!
Happy to be back too!! :) missed you guys haha! thanks!
I agree with a previous comment in saying that these videos are professional quality and the creators are outstanding!
Awh thanks so much!! Appreciate it :)
Has been on my to-do list but this looks even better than I initially thought.
Let us know when you go :)
This channel is 100% under rated. Can't believe they don't have more subscribers. These videos are top notch from content to editing
Thanks so much Tony! :)
Agreed - I was mindblown at the subscriber count.
agreed!
This random video popped up and I clicked. You have a new sub, S3.
That's awesome, thanks so much!! Welcome, welcome haha :)
I loved that foie gras-anchovy dish. It blew my mind that, eyes closed, you could have told me it was uni and I would have believed you. That was the real genius of the dish for me. Truly transformative.
That’s a great point! You’re right, we didn’t think of it that way… but we see where you’re coming from!
Also, please do a Q&A so we can get to meet you behind the scenes! Are you both in the culinary world as chefs or restaurateurs? How did you become so knowledgeable in all things gastronomy? Would love to know more!

The best video i've seen for a long time-.. Thanks to you.. Looking really good.
That’s awesome! Thanks for saying that :)
What a gorgeous video - I love travel and food so this video was the next best thing to being there! Thank you and I’ll be binge watching the rest of your videos now ❤
Awh thanks so much!! Glad you liked it, don’t watch our earlier videos haha… we were just figuring it out! ❤️
Interesting meal. I love Adrian's reactions when he tastes something mind blowing!
Hahah, that’s good to hear!!
Absolutely gorgeous setting! Your videos are so well done! I wish you showed your new rating on the video. I don't feel like going to a website and finding it there. I'm lazy I guess!
Haha, fair! We want to try and keep these cinematic, and the ratings for those who want all the additional details!!
Leila always adds sparkle!
Hehe, why thank you!! :D
Type of place you'll go grab a burger after to fill up 😂
That place looks like something out of a dream.
I know! It’s insane!!
I had a book about el bulli that i read a decade ago and i just remembered this place existed. Its just as impressive as i remember.
That's awesome! And it's incredibly impressive!
Thanks for watching :)
great video, what do you guys use for your camera and mic setup?
Thanks! We use a Sony FX3 to film a Sony alpha one for our pictures and a tascam mic and Sony shotgun to record the team!
165 euros is a pretty good deal when you see the effort put into it and the number of employees, the space etc.. I wonder if they are profitable, I know elbulli wasn’t profitable because too much expenses was put into the menu.
It was 165 Euro for the wine… not the whole meal.
The second video where I'm late, as I'm still recovering but damn the content is top notch as always!!
Adrian and layla wishing you even more success from a friend! 😀
Oh sorry to hear you're still recovering :( Hope you recover quickly! And thank you :)
@@S3LifestyleI'm trying my best too, thanks! 😀
Brilliant!
Great video, definitely deserve more recognition. But I understand my partner does the same type of videos and these video types need to get pushed more.
She does! What’s her channel, let’s support each other :)

Fiji waa is her channel, sorry for late reply. Great vids just watched the 25 course you just posted, some interesting dishes 😁😁@@S3Lifestyle
Excelente vídeo and suberb restaurant.
if you are a sushichef you know thats not katsura muki
The menu part 2😂😂
She didn’t know to do the chef cheek to cheek kiss. It ok.
Oops

LMAO, a huge 3 ft plate and a small morsel of food a mouse could eat, lol, when are these restaurants gonna go bankrupt
As much as I respect their craft, I’d rather eat some mole in Puebla Mexico and tacos on the streets of Monterrey.
Does the staff get to go home?
I get the fine dining , but are you full?
Totally a fair question, and honestly we do have big appetites outside of fine dining! That seems to low priced
Totally agree, for where you are and what you get!
Isn’t that where cousin staged in the bear ?
Couple thousand dollars on your bill and you leave hungry lol
# be aware about soft gang****
Couldn’t pay me to eat there

Yaaa... There's more interesting chefs out there now... Molecular cuisine is fun but not exactly new.
how many Michelin stars does your restaurant have?

What a bunch of BS😂😂😂
Foie gras is usually an instant turn off for me, especially when mentioned excessively. This clip screams inaccessible and nouveau riche. Definitely not on my top five list. Wrong approach.
That's not food.
This is crap, I would curse them for that food. Low or no effort dishes. This is basically robbing money from people for nothing.
people and their money
illuminati cooking. 4:15 maybe thats why Ive always strongly disliked this style
Conspiracies have no place in the food industry. There are many cultures that do the eye thing
I don’t like aesthetics of the restaurant
Weird plating
Great video! What score did you give this restaurant, @S3Lifestyle?
Omg can you get any more pretentious
