We slept on top of Dunn last week. Panoramic Sunset and Sunrise. Fantastic experience. Unfortunately, the snowpacks that were there when you did this vidio are almost all gone. Just figured out what way you climbed. Up the North Couloir, right? Not the easiest.
+Steve McAbee - That must have been an incredible bivy up top! The climb I did was adjacent to the North couloir. It's low angle and a 5.5 grade with one 5.6 move. Not difficult, but some fun exposure and route finding. You must have taken the scramble up the opposite side of ridge that I was on?
+Simon Hergott The bivy was by chance and amazing. Planned to camp in the meadow. Decided to check out the route up the east side once we got there. Made it to the top before dark and had everything we need with us so decided to stay. It was worth it.
Does Dunn Peak have the lookout? Or is it the lookout across from Dunn? I've been up that lookout about 20 years ago. Somewhere in that area across from Littlefort.
I did Dunn Peak last Sept 4th and it was amazing! Will be doing it again this year. Can't wait to be in that valley again, so beautiful!

The lookout you're talking about is on Baldy mountain. You can see the old shack in my latest video, if you check on my channel :)

It was mid august
