$300 (and it'll actually cost you $350 or so) is _at least_ $150 too steep. The toon street scene dio is far more impressive (and dare I say intricate) than this, and was less than half the cost to your door.
3:25 Donny lab, Kitchen, and maybe 1 or 2 more next year... reusing those wall molds really heavily, but I'm interested in budged friendly option in the form of an accessory pack that includes furniture and decoration,s not those expensive pipe + walls
Other than the Living Room, Kitchen, and Donatello's work shop... What other Lair locations could they be referring to in the "1-2 additional rooms"? We know it isn't the garage (they suggest you buy two living rooms to make the second one your garage). My guess? The Turtles bedroom with the bunk beds (with maybe partition for Splinter's bed) & then the training room with a dummy, maybe cardboard cut outs of the main villains (Shredder, Krang, Bebop, Rocksteady).
At 3 minutes and 20 seconds Trevor admits to there being one or two more diorama rooms after Donnie's lab and the kitchen! I can't wait, it seems like we can build an entire turtle lair here, (and perhaps a Technodrome too!)
Wow! Blaine pretty much just brushed you totally at the beginning. And Trevor didn’t seem to want to partake at all either. That’s a shame. Good job for persevering and asking the questions. I feel like the price point for the lair is out of whack at $300 plus tax but maybe NECA thought well it’s only $50 bucks more than the van, how bad can that be? Trevor could have at least been a little bit more enthusiastic about the products. I mean it is a con he’s appearing at afterall. And isn’t it the idea to interact with the fans in a positive and enthusiastic way about the products your company is bringing to market.
I'll forgive NECA for charging $300 for the lair if they'd just do a second run of the Turtle Van. I cannot afford to pay the obscene secondary market price for this thing!
Yeah, it's incredibly underwhelming and absurdly overpriced. Years back when it was first mentioned, I thought it was gonna be this set, then two smaller adjoining rooms (kitchen & Donnie's workshop) for $250. Flash forward to today, the basic Turtle Lair (so those three rooms mentioned) should be $300; then _way_ down the line release extensions and additional rooms like Splinter's dojo and the bedroom.
The fact that the sewer walls are so hollowed out shows how cheap that plastic is. It truly looks horrible from the side & rear meaning your only options are to display it flush so the hideous side walls aren't visible.
Is it me or did they try to play it off like you get 2 sections of the sewer set (especially for that price)? I could be overthinking it. I would've considered it if that's how they were selling it.
Selling it as a "garage" makes zero sense... They parked the van outside their lair under ground through a massive storm drain..... How are you supposed to fit the van through 1 of 3 6" portal holes? lol
Neither of em seemed too excited to talk about that sewer lair😹
Like pawned it off on him to present it.
They didn’t want to have to tell you it is $360
Probably already got backlash on the price at the show 🤣🤣🤣
I'll have to admit seeing the Turtle Lair in your video looks more awesome then seeing it in pictures but $300 still seems a bit steep.

This is not an in hand review.
I hope they re issue that van i didn't pre order cause it looked awful with the big dome on top but this new version is much better
Mega Jay: "I don't wanna touch it" - proceeds to touch everything on their booth LOL🤣🤣🤣

Ants it
Hey there NECA TMNT fans. Who wants a $300 garage to house your Turtle van.
I wanna see NECA to make TMNT Turtle Shell Communicator, April's Communicator and shredder's Communicator

Same here
i agree
Mr.kite place
It’s supposed to get a limited rerelease for people that missed the first preorder.
@@Izzy8u Anything official from NECA online? Or just rumor mill?
It looks cool, but 300.00 is still to steep. IMO.
good morining jay ,whats up guys - i didnt catch the party wagon the first time , is there gonna be another chance to get it ??
$300 and the walls aren't even fully molded lol how is this going to hold the street dio with 10-15 figures? $300 is 2x what it's worth
jason lives!! LOL as you show mike myers lol must be early aye brother?
Whats up Jay
It is over priced for 300. It is quite plain. It is missing the television set.
Add another $100 for the tv & shipping. Total cost nearly $400.
If this is for 300 i cannot dare to imagine how much will cost the technodrome!........😳
Iiiii think i talked too much see ya! 😅
Man, that turtle lair looks SO small for $300. Not a lot going on there!

They want $300 for that with the hallowed walls on the other side. What a joke
I can see the cartoon street dio on top of the sewer, loaded with figures, completely crushing this $300 atrocity. No thanks.
Not to mention it has no lighting. Once you put the street diorama on top it's going to be like a dark cave in there.
@@dbzmagus Exactly what I was thinking. I'm surprised hardly anyone has mentioned this.
Definitely going to need lighting.

Wow could those guys have been any less enthusiastic...🙄

Bricks sizes is too big for the turtles.
Jay remember, if you buy Elvira she's entitled to 1 phone call and a strip search.
Click bait, not an in-hand review at all.
Those Neca dudes couldn't be less interested, enthusiastic or knowledgeable if they tried. Jeez.
