Not gonna lie; its the newest addition to my personal cult classics collection and I am not one that reviews horror movies softly. Horror is a forgotten art; the empty man was not scary per se on the jump scare tactics, but the filming, acting (the lead actor is phenomenal, despite not being able to remember any other movies he had starred in) atmosphere, down to the very psychological concepts it presented were perfect for a thriller scary movie.
Antlers looks fucking amazing !!! i am so keen. finally a movie that had grabbed my attention in a very long time. seen A Quiet Place 1 in cinemas and will be watching number 2.
This is actually relaxing. Can't wait for these anyway.

I could not for the life of me take that first trailer seriously. Especially that overdramatic "You have no idea!" 😂 I wouldn't be surprised if that turned out to be a horror/comedy or something.

These horror movie trailers make it seem like movies aren’t scary anymore, the only good horror movie I’m waiting for is the conjuring 3 because that’s the only horror movie that’s actually scary in this video the other ones don’t look scary at all, but we all have are ways of what’s scary and what’s not
Though a quiet place isn’t “scary” it’s grabs the attention that horror movies miss out on for cheap scares and bad story lines

The Empty Man and The Owners came out in 2020. I already saw both of them. The Empty Man was actually in theatres in October/November.
Antlers is the one I look most forward to, especially when you have Guillermo del toro attached as Producer.

Check out Sator. It's slow paced but it builds and envelopes the feeling of dread rather well, and that anticipation of the unknown pays off. Some good horror.
The dark and the wicked is another pretty scary one, I've seen a lot of horror movies, and only this movie and sinister have really scared me.
Korea is making some good horror, and thriller movies atm. If you have Amazon Prime check out Haunted Asylum.

If we get rid of all the sequels - some of them, like a Quiet Place 2, could however be interesting - then we're down to a few original ideas. Among them, I can't wait to watch Antlers. Looks and feels great, the creature is a true gem - from what we can glimpase - and it's a del Toro creation...
