Awesome was waiting for this video! Seems a lot of fisher people use that style of boat nowadays. It's nice and open and you can fit 5 people comfortably it appears. Do you wish it had a cover in case of rain? And of course, the elephant in the room IMHO is what does a boat like that cost brand new and what does that cost perhaps several years used? Had two fishing boats before and like to get another one someday! Although the old saying is the best days of having a boat are when you buy it and the day when you sell it! LOL
This is a great boat. There are days I wish it had a cover to make it more comfortable for the kids. I find myself saying “the kids can’t come out today because it’s raining or it’s too sunny”. It’s definitely weighed down with all 5 people in it but it’s doable. That is a funny saying, I don’t think I’ve ever heard that!
How is the boat performance with the jet/in the rivers? I am thinking about getting one of these boats but worried that the deadrise and weight of the 150hp motor, will limit how shallow the boat will go. Thanks!
This is the very reason why we bought a jet. So we can shoot up the tributary rivers. We havent found a need to run it into these rivers as the fishing has been really good in the columbia and willamette. The boat has to be on plane before it goes through shallow waters. I wouldnt run it in less than 12 inches of water but have been told it can make it through 6inches of water depth. Guess it depends on experience and river knowledge on shallow you can run it in. I hope that answers your question. Side note: our boat is for sale if you are interested. Send me an email mystylebaits@gmail.com. Thanks for watching!
I’m looking at the same boat. Curious how it runs with the 105 jet. I live in eastern Washington and want a good all around boat for Clearwater steelhead to Brewster and b10. I also fish Lake Roosevelt for kokanee and walleye. Are you comfortable with 5 people in the boat? I saw the weight limit at 5 people / 750 lbs and that makes me think I need a bigger boat. I don’t know about the west side but us corn fed boys over here run a little over 200. Also I’ve seen a boat for sale on Craigslist that looks exactly like yours. Are you planning on upgrading?
Hello Ryan. 5 people definitely weighs the boat down but is doable. We were in B10 a lot last year but we mostly had 4 total people. The boat did just fine for us but we were often feeling like we were in a washing machine. Yes, we are planning on upgrading. The boat you see on Craigslist is ours.
I have a 20’ Stryker, same hull, and I won’t say how many people were in it, but it was 1100lbs of human, gear, and 40 gallons of gas. I have a Yamaha 150hp prop and it does just fine. My prop is pitched for torque, not speed. That probably helps.
Sorry I was late, but you answered my questions that was awesome. Thank y’all for your tour of your beautiful boat 👍🏼❤️😊
Awesome! Thanks for watching!!!

great set up you guys.
Thanks Derek.
Thats a nice setup! Are you guys going to get a pot puller for it?
Now that I'm thinking about it, it might be a little harder to install a Grandpa puller on that style of boat. That's what the boys are for😅
Haha we have a puller but it’s not electric and we have never used it.
Just an FYI. EFI stands for Electronic Fuel Injection
Thank you!
Alumawelds are awesome boats…
I enjoy mine.
It won’t be long an you’ll be wanting a bigger one..
Yikes so expensive….
Be safe out there…

Haha funny you say that….. Thanks for watching!
My fish fighter trays got bands over the weight spots
Yeah ours came with them but we took them off. We found it easier to use without them.
What percentage of horse power do you loose by having a jet?
Close to 30%. A 150 head gives 105 w/ a jet.
