@@science_sir sir I tried this recipe yesterday with two cup measurement of wheat flour. The crust was not cooked properly and also the lower layer needed some more cooking . How to check if it’s perfectly cooked before I take it out of the OTG . And if it’s undercooked , what should be done . Can we cook again for another 5 or 10 min . The preparation seemed very easy when seeing it as a video , but it was not very easy as I thought . 😊

The Baking time given for the recipe is an approximate value, may vary depending on various parameters like volume of the food material, surrounding temperature, size of the oven etc, the issues that you're facing is not uncommon, please try to increase the baking time by 5 to 10 mins, the top layer of the crust will turn slightly brown when it's done. Answer 1) both upper and lower rod should be ON during the entire process and baking should be done in the middle rack.
Answer 2) no need to turn ON the convection fan, else there will be a brown hard crust formed on the top of the pizza.
Answer 3) the food material where we need to make brown on the top or charred effect, turn ON the convection fan, eg. Tikkas, tandoori etc. But where we don't need the charred effect like baking cake, dhokla etc, turn OFF the convection fan. Please watch this video for better understanding

As u have no other option left ( means power on both upper and lower rods without CONVECTION), then u can definitely go for both upper and lower rods with CONVECTION.

I wanted the pizza bread to get baked properly .. that is why i used this bake mode technique of keeping lower rods on and kept in lower rack with fan off at 160 temp.

Ya definitely you can turn on the CONVECTION fan for baking pizza or tandoori or tikkas, but do not turn on the CONVECTION fan while baking cakes.
On doing that, the hot air will start blowing on the surface of the food material and make it charred and help to form a hard crust, obviously which we don't want on the top layer of our cake.

Sir how to choose between a convection and otg to buy
If u already owned a solo or solo plus grill microwave oven, then choosing OTG will be helpful as it's comparetively cheaper than convection microwave oven.
But if u don't have any Microwave Oven, then u can go for CONVECTION Microwave Oven as u can use it both for baking as well as for reheating food.

To get the best results, it's better to bake the pizza bread freshly, that means not keep the dough in the fridge and bake it later. After baking the pizza bread, u can definitely store it in the fridge (using plastic zip look) and later u can use for final baking. Hope this will help.
