Nice. I use the LR Baggs Para Acoustic DI in my rig, along with the Hall of Fame Reverb by TC Electronics. I also recently tried the Mini Tube Screamer as a boost pedal (with gain turned way down). It works pretty well, but I'll probably try a clean boost in the future.
What kind of mic do you use (the one with the red foam)? I have a SM57 Shure instrument mic that I might try, just wondering if you are using a vocal mic or a instrument mic.
Hey Will, how did you configure the sub n up? I’m using mine on my Mandola. It’s very wet though, way more wet than the dry signal. I really just want the same sound as the Mandola but an octave lower. Played around with the toneprint app but didn’t have much luck. Thanks!
Hey I spoke to you at The Peach about this. I am gonna buy some stuff next month and just came across this video. Played a gig recently plugged right into the board and sounded terrible. I am no pro, but it is time to upgrade. I think I will start with Venue DI and add on from there. Sound right?
Yeah, how dare you explore sounds w your mandolin!!! If Bill Monroe didn’t use effects then it is flat out wrong! Now give that mandolin away to a purist and go buy your hippie self an electric guitar! 🤠

Nice work on the vid. Hey what pickup u got in that mando? Hiw well dies it work at live high volume? Any issues w feedback?
Always hated envelope filters. Apparently all it needed was a mandolin to sound dope. Cool stuff
Appreciate that! The envelope has been swapped out for a wah pedal as of recent. I review that in a follow up video on my channel
Lad! What's that song you're playing through out the video?
That is a riff from the song “Foot’s Touchin Steel” off our debut record Secret of Breeze. We’re called Sicard Hollow

In the video it’s a 58. Although live I prefer a pencil style condenser mic or 57 if that’s unavailable

For context, I’m actually hoping to turn off the dry signal and attain a mandocello sound.
Hi Will, what kind of pickup is in yr mando? Thanks
I’m running a k&k twin!
Where did you get the different coloured pedal buttons? .
I think they're the "mooer" brand. I wouldn't recommend though, depending on the pedal they're sometimes difficult to remove
Hand bud, very informative videos .
