Kudos to one of the few crash tests thats obsessed with body shell stability and not ADAS unlike Europe, Australia and now Latin America. There is no peer reviewed study or body of data that shows ADAS that it definitivly saves lives in the manner airbags does for instance, the only reason I can come up with for the ADAS push is that its the first step to push the driver out of the car and replace them with a computer, or a bicycle. In terms of the test results, lets remember that all these cars passed a 50kph crash test to be sold in India and that these cars were tested at 64kph. Regardless the faster you go, the less likely you and your family are going walk away from that crash, irrespective of how many stars it got.
There is no standard government norms regarding vehicle safety,so car makers making unsafe cars for lesser money which leads to death, auto makers sells their car to new customers ,without saying what is ncap rating about the car which the customer is looking for, customers also buys the car by seeing the gimmick price, that's why most of the cars are not exported to Australia,Good job made in india👏👏👏
The star rating itself may not say much. From a "stars" perspective, the ranking would be 1. Carens, 2. Amaze, 3. Bolero Neo. However, Carens got 3 stars due to 6 airbags, while its body shell was deemed unstable and that not capable of withstanding more force. Contrastingly, the Amaze had a stable body shell which was also deemed to be good enough to take further force in a crash. So practically, the Amaze is the safest of the three on road. From a real-life standpoint, one can always trust any car where "the body shell is deemed stable and capable to withstand further load". Never mind the 2-stars. Amaze is safe. Remember, a frontal impact test at 64 kmph will translate into a real-life head-on collision between two vehicles each traveling at 32 kmph only. Anything more, airbags will not matter much if the shell itself is not stable.
Amaze has a stable bodyshell which most of the cars don't, the protocols of the crash tests keep changing in terms of electronics like ADAS, which obviously budget cars can't offer.

waiting for swift, brezza and grand vitara tests
Due to Ford, Vw, TaTa , who wont compromise with Build quality.indian lives r now getting some good , safer vehicles.
First GNCAP has rigid their parameters after 2022. And I think Bolero Neo could achieve 3 to 4 Stars Easily if ESC, Rear/Side Airbags and Safety Belt Reminder (SBR) for rear were installed in it. It achieved 1 Star just because its body Metal and material is strong enough.
Fanboys -Cars with low sales numbers - we have stars *****.
Now after stars faded away - forget about stars it has stable body.
What to say
But what they have said is also a reality and i think the low sale number car will launch its next gen it seems
Waiting for New Kia Seltos
Autocar fellows will interview Maruti Suzuki bosses and ask about engines, sales but not a single word about Safety. Really shameful.
Too much disappointed by Mahindra Bolero Neo, I was considering it as it is one and only rear wheel drive car in my budget :(
Bolero neo rating is such a disappointment.... That was going to b my next buy...such a rugged vehicle and still getting 1 star.. Im surprised
Carens ❣️
So which is the strongest crash proof car in india??
Disappointing results for such brands, would like to see Suzuki Ciaz as they claim it to have 4 star in ACAP rating
Expect another programme to rate the Suzuki Ciaz soon.
Is GNCAP sponsored 🤔
Why they don’t pick top 10 selling cars like creta glanza Innova or fortuner .
gncap own channel is saying its a 0 star for adult safety for kia carens
Kia scored zero, looking at GNCAP video why there is discrepency?
Amaze amazed us all ....
Amaze, and 6 airbags? WTF, Jay? Only 2, not even 4.
Looks like Ignis just flashed a grin at the Mahindra Bolero! 1 ⭐
Honda Elevate?
Test creta 2020 also
Where are the Suzuki haters now? Swallowing your ego huhh lmao
Did Suzuki got 5 starts ? We don't hate Suzuki , we hate unsafe cars doesn't matter if it is Mahendra or Suzuki even Tata (if it make unsafe cars)
Suzuki cars are not for safety only mileage.
@@nareshvadlamani8290 Suzuki & Hyundai has the best engines and are very much capable of making safe cars(like in west) but they won't only in India to increase margins. hence the hate for them
@@abhilashavvaru I would love to buy Suzuki if it is safe .. else naah , I would better spend my money on gas over the medical bills
@@abhilashavvaru yea sure, their cars aren't much of a mileage champs anymore, their cars are moving towards a different target audience while keeping mileage as a priority, know the difference in budget friendly options and customer targeted options
The most concerning thing is that many of the cars that got 5stars in the so called global ncap and Bharat ncap even fails to score a single star in ANCAP and Euro Ncap as was evident in the case of Mahindra Scorpio n which scored zero stars in ANCAP. So please don’t lover the standards Global Ncap and Bharat Ncap, otherwise people will start to question the credibility of these ratings
We expect Maruti Suzuki India should send their new models for crash test, atleast likes of Baleno, ertiga, brezza and grand vitara since they are selling like hot cakes.Atleast public should know how these car fares in terms of safety issues..
Want to see Audi A8L security in crash test
I did not expect Kia Caren’s to get zero stars for adult protection so disappointing
I think Tata get a lot of slack for their interiors. But safety mein Boss hai yaar.
