I would use it in drinks where there are other flavours going on (not something like an Old Fashioned where it’s the star of the show!). Even a whiskey sour doesn’t have to be great quality whiskey, but it’s always going to be tastier if you use tastier base products…

Jim Beam is that cheap and decent quality. You can use it in any bourbon whiskey drinks
