my favorite Nono-Disney animated movie
I love how the drama between Katie and her father is so realistic. Katie is not a generic rebellious teenager, her father is not a generic boomer, they are both portrayed in the most realistic way possible. And as someone who also faced difficulties with my parents due to my college choice, this movie really spoke to me, all thanks to the realism of their relationship.

I still remember my 9th grade math teacher, he was high half the time and was very scared of furbies and squirrels, someone once put a squirrel puppet in the drawer of his desk and he jumped a solid two feet or more
Just like Nimona this year, The Mitchells Vs The Machines is an animated movie that got sold to Netflix because another company didn't believe in them, and both are the best animated movies of their year. Mitchells is so funny and so heartfelt. I really cried when it's revealed that the Dad had to give up his lifelong dream for his family.

Fun fact this was the directorial debut of Mike Rianda who was the creative director on Gravity Falls. He voices Aaron the son and based the Mitchells on his own family.
This movie is so amazing. The animation and visual style are top notch, the struggle to connect and tension between Katie and Rick feels so real, it has a great message about family and understanding, and Monchi is absolutely hilarious. It deserves so much more praise than it's already gotten.

"Witness the twilight of man" has got the be one of the funniest lines I've ever seen on an animated movie... ever.
It was an incredible film that managed to be a tear jerker, hilariously funny, filled with an awesome message and inclusive to boot. It had the energy/style of the Spiderverse movie.
One of the greatest animated movie of this decade. And Sony pictures' newer projects is definitely better than disney's newer projects

I saw this with my kiddo, and we loved it. I didn't even know a out it until my kiddo mentioned it. And I'm glad she did, we watched it like 3 times.
Mitchells vs the Machines is the best original film from Sony Pictures Animation. I wish Sony didn’t dump on Netflix. It should’ve gotten a theatrical release.
I love this movie so much. It’s a shame Sony sold it to a streamer. This would have been so much better received if it got a theatrical release.

This movie has such a tight script with amazing visuals. Truly top teir movie. I went into it seeing the brief preview on netflix so slapped it on for family movie night and omg did it deliver! This movie did not need to be this amaizng and yet it was. The only bummer is it would have been great in theatres but its still such a great family movie! Each character feels real and 3 dimensional. I love the mom and son trying their hardest to get the daughter and father to bond. The robot sons brought such joy. The joke of the dog being dog-pig-dog-pig-loaf of bread kills me every time. I think every mom can relate to Linda when their baby is in danger and the "mom is scary now" and how the dad says he could get into it and how the daughter looks at him like 🤨 is so great. I can never say enough good things about it! 10/10 and i love the reaction. Tbh this reaction makes me want to join of patreon so i can see reactions to my favorite moments lol

Very enjoyable movie with an charming, relatable story
While watching this reaction another one of my favorite Netflix animated movies comes to mind. The Willoughbys came out in 2020 and is still a movie i rewatch often. It’s a sweet, kind of sad, kooky, kindhearted movie and all the characters are so lovable. it’s kind of hard to describe it, you just have to watch it!! if you haven’t seen it you guys should definitely react to it and even if you don’t react, i still recommend it!!

I’d love to see another movie in this visual style. My only complaint is the voice actor they chose for a little boy. Wish they used an actual kid, or someone who sounded like one. Otherwise great! And did not realize that Danny McBride was the dad until I saw the credits 😄

This is my favorite film of 2021 as well as my second favorite animated film of the decade so far, behind Across the Spider-Verse. I absolutely love the animation, the story and the characters. I still wished it won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, cause you can feel the passion and care from this film and to all the animators who worked on this. I really love this movie and Im glad its getting more recognition.
Also if you guys love this film, the co-director, Jeff Rowe, just helped with TMNT: Mutant Mayhem. Definitely in my Top 5 favorite films of this year (so far) I highly recommend watching it in theaters.

I love this movie. It’s one of the best animated movies of all time and the perfect movie for me as this came out when I was about to finish high school and related so much to Katie with not connecting to family and wish it ended in a happy family but it didn’t, but that’s what movies are for. Going beyond reality and showing what we could have. An amazing movie.
