Thank you for this. Wheat beers aren't my thing, but sometimes they are, especially with citrus (orange) stuffed down the neck (Blue Moon especially). There's also PBR, and while Pabst might get hate, theirs is the pre-Prohibition flavor of beers, only they kept their recipe and flavor from the 1920's. I would argue that the mainstream beers of now are strongly inferior to what was lost. Also, being Texican, Shiner is a a thing, and Mom really loved the Autumn flavors: far too often would she nick those and my Späten Optimator (double Boch). Made a Beer Jack using nutty Späten, and that cheese came out amazing. Couldn't sell it though, since the alcohol is present and doesn't cook off, and I'm not licensed to sell alcohol goods...including Red Windsor, which is a farmhouse cheddar with the curds soaked in Port for a few hours before press: looks like sausage, tastes like Port and is really good in sausage, stuffed burgers and chicken, pasta dishes and salads, being naturally crumbly: tasty addition.
