This Australia Travel Video explores the Margaret River Region located in the stunning southwest coast of Western Australia about 3 -4 hours drive from the City of Perth. Where to Stay in Margaret River? The Pullman Bunker Bay Resort is a great choice for #hotel #accommodation and for further details please check www.pullmanbunkerbayresort.co.... Set in beautiful Bunker Bay within Cape Naturaliste, it is an ideal location for rest and recreation. You can start your day by walking to Bunker Bay Beach at sunrise. If you are lucky you can watch the #dolphins as they swim through the bay. The beach is also perfect for swimming and picnic.
The Margaret River Region is a big area to explore so it is highly recommended to start your day with good breakfast. The Pullman Bunker Bay Resort provides good hearty breakfast.
Then you can head to Canal Rocks located in the Leewuin-Naturaliste National Park South of Yallingup. This is a perfect place for photography, stunning scenery or simply wandering around and enjoy the granite rocks and the powerful waves. The Region is also gifted with ancient #caves that are worth checking out. There are over 100 decorated limestone caves the lie beneath the surface of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste ridge. In this video we featured Ngilgi Cave located in Yallingup - it is $32 AUD cost of entry. This cave was formed over 1 million years ago and features spectacular #stalagmites, #stalactites, shawl formations and should be included in your Perth travel itinerary. Where to eat in Margaret River? If you are a food and wine lover then the Margaret River Region is a place for world class and award winning wineries - the region is famous for its Shiraz, Cabernet wines etc. The region has drawn comparison to the #Bordeaux Region in #France due to is #meditteranean climate and soil nutrients. You can cruise from cellar door to cellar door - you can visit the following wineries cellar door and also their restaurants for lunch.

The Margaret River region has stunning coastlines and beaches and you can end your day at Meelup Beach located in Meelup Bay Dunsborough. One of the #topbeaches in the region and in the world, has calm turquoise blue waters perfect for swimming and snorkelling. it is also secluded and a perfect #beach for a bit more privacy.
A bit of a fun fact, Geographe and Naturaliste were the first maiden ships in the Baudin Expedition formally approved by Napoleon Bonaparte in the early 1800's, and this expedition was the first to map the southwest coast of Australia. The French were really onto something as the southwest coast of Australia is gifted with such stunning beauty.

Busselton was my late mother's favourite place to spend a weekend or a week. But the place she and my sister spent most of their days was Meelup Beach, just watching the world go by, Such a peaceful place as long as you avoid school holidays! Thanks for the awesome video.

W😮W! Just W❤W! Another awesome share. The Margaret Bay region is spectacular. I was so enamored with the rock formations, the wooden walkways, the amazing colors of the water. Indian Ocean right 🤔. The cave took me back to my visit to the Jenolan Caves in the Blue Mountain region of NSW. Though we didn't have a self guided tour option. As always. Margaret River is truly s unique destination - we were very lucky to see Dolphins and we had to film this in 3 days,,, there was one day when it was incredibly windy that walking along the narrow timber walkway over the canal rocks is simply impossible. Yes, it is the Indian Ocean , and the canal rocks with its granite rock formations is like an open air museum. ❤️❤️❤️
