Glad you enjoyed the video! I thought it would be fun to share a little more about my background. I an not a full time mountain biker or UA-camr, sadly 😆
I believe the next race is schedule for August 20th. These are not official sanctioned events so check with the locals for more info. Thanks for watching!!
Hey. Good to see you out again. Have not seen a video from you in a few months. Was beginning to wonder how things were going. Hope all is well. Pretty cool timing set up you made. Question. How did you connect the optic for the finish line? Did you have to run a hard wire the length of the course? Or was it wireless? Louise and I, possibly Heather and a few others are going to Angel Fire Sept 2nd to the 5th. Would love to get a group together like last year.
I've had a lot going on this year and haven't had a lot of time to work on my channel. Hoping to have some new videos in the near future! The timing system uses a photo sensor for the start and finish. I have 10 meter cables connecting the sensors back to the control panel. The start and finish are both close to the panel since the race course is essentially a loop. I will be in AF the following week...Sept. 9-11. Man, it would've been fun to shred with you guys again! Last year was a blast!!
Nice! Great video of an awesome day.
It was a lot of fun! Great group of riders and volunteers made it awesome 👌
As an electrical engineer, prog metal guitarist, and mountain biker from Colorado (but originally from San Antonio), this video is freaking awesome.
