the guitar in everything aerosmith is underrated. joe perry is one of the best guitarist, if not the best, in rock history. love in an elevator inspired me to pick up guitar and i learned just by watching joe perry play :) he’s a great musician overall
Joe is very inspiring as a person too. He's the most loyal man I know and he's such a good friend, as far as I can tell from how he gets on with his bandmates. And of course, I must not forget to mention how gorgeous he looks 😍😍
Brad Whitford came up the title Pump"congratulations on the name of album. Album cover art was very creative. I enjoyed watching all band members thinking process and playing styles.
Where did that guy John come from? He looks like some Acid dropping Woodstock 60s left over from the Ghandi era. Weird looking guy but knows his stuff.
The bit where Brad Whitford talks about pump being the title they chose for the album and says pump works because it has different meanings in one word, the bit where he says (pump) it's 90s wtf this is 1989 that saying didn't come out until the 90s haha
Really? The chorus lyrical idea might be cheesy, but the music and melody are super catchy. Especially the “whoa-oh”, whoa-oh yeah” parts sung between the verse lines. It’s great.
I had to drive for an hour today so I listened to PUMP , all of it, and just LOVED IT!!!!
I wish they still made documentaries like this.
the bass line during the guitar solo of love in a elevator.. Sooooooo smoothhh!!!
One of the greatest American Rock bands ever & Steven Tyler greatest Front man EVER!!!!
Brad: "We were having a business meeting and as usual I was day dreaming..." I can totally relate ;)
business and music....opposite sides of the brain....LOL

LOL at 9:00. Bruce, "Go for three." Steven eyes slightly bug out, "Really?"
Pump is one of the greatest rock albums ever made
Firebrand VOCALS yes and the title sounds really good
I love the album but I'd argue about it being one of the greatest. It's got lots and lots of good riffs on it.
It is!
No...that would be Rocks!
It’s their last good rock record
I LOVE Joey's vocal improvisations for "What It Takes" between 9:07 and 9:13.

F.I.N.E. works just as well too. Especially when you know what it stands for.
Joey is a rock solid drummer on this record
Don't worry. It was a great idea for the album title and the album is excellent
Wow. Steven is color-coordinated and put together like a chick. Those nails are kickin'!
Steven Styler is a lesbian - that's what you mean, isn't it?
Drummer ROCKS!!
Joe
Yeah, can’t argue about and lately he actually cited his bandmates :)
@@maximillienrobespierre7262 I heard..he deserves more credit for the Aerosmith sound...I'm my opinion.
Surely. I think Aerosmith is such an intresting band beacuse every member is relevant. They where the Best when they were working together.
3:30 Absolutely! You DON'T count compilations when you're counting albums! Live albums are a grey area, but i wouldn't count them.
Love name Album Pump more difference .name be epic❤
PUMP was a great name!
They argued with each other alot on this album and they were sober can you imagine how ugly things got in the 70s
god this Steven Tyler know's what he's doing. i'm proud of being a rocker.
LOVE IT ALL!!!

good morning Mr. Froggy….going down?
@unimovie101 yes
Aerosmith 15 I'd rather call it pump then something else...
Steven Tyler looks like a Star Trek villian here.....

did anyone else notice the weirdness of tom's lips?!
+Anna Buczarska Me lool

It was "future thinking" , lol
I still can’t stand John Kolodner John Kolodner.
Maine Catholic Guy me too this dude doesn't like anything. I think he's just too critical
The guitar solo to love in an elevator is killer but the song is kinda corny.

@@BaronVonBielski that’s what I meant but wasn’t specific.
Bruce fairban has too much power over the band
