I had guy at a tackle shop tell me “kayak fishermen get in his way”..because you have a boat you consider yourself a better fisherman? Most arrogant thing I’ve heard a bass fisherman say. The Hobie is less stable than the Native. If I’m fishing local I’m always using my native. If I’m going to a lake and the weather is good I’ll take the Hobie. The Hobie is much faster and I can cover water.

@@fusionstar916 yeah. I’ve switched props and power connections trying to see why the older motor is running slower. I think the Hobie is build for speed. The hull is designed is way different. The new motor did have a little more power though
I was out there camping with my family and when I was fishing the dock that’s right behind the fishing dock gate just chasing a sure catch fish like some bluegill that like to hide in the weeds and all of the sudden the fish scattered and sure enough here comes a 20” striped bass I wasn’t ready for him 😢😢
Casey, all kidding aside, there are pirates on the delta! Not Capt hook type, but losers who come up on an unsuspecting guy and take his boat, gear, everything. Look into this, and ask around. By all means don’t be a victim out there.
I’ve had em do that on the ocean and then stop, hit a waypoint and carry on. There’s no honor in the game anymore. IG fame got people fkn trippin out there.

There’s a proportion of power boaters who I think look down on us kayakers, I’ve seen it on the water like in this video and at launch ramps. Heck I’ve had power boaters purposely head directly at me to scare me and when I stood up like you, he was staring right at me until he veered away way too close! Man that type of person has some seriou issues. Thankfully there are also some who go out of their way to slow down and show some respect too, usually fellow fisherman. Stay are out there and hope I see ya on the water

No, lies I have 2019 Outback the stability is straight junk without the bar; I’ll probably flipped out a couple times already but it’s my 1st time on it though. My Oldtown PDL 106 stability is second to none.
@@mastermouaable last year during kayak tournament season I heard of 3 people flipping in there kayaks. They were all in a “Hobie pro anglers” . I wouldn’t have stayed standing when that boat drove by me if I was in my Hobie
@ one time the same boat blast by a few feet in front of my boat filling it with water. Twice in 30 minutes. I was in a tracker grizzly which luckily is packed with foam to keep it from sinking.
