WOW WHAT AN AWESOME VIDEO. IT WAS CLEAR. IT WAS EASY TO UNDERSTAND. AND THE CAMERA PERSON WAS EXACTLY WHERE HE/SHE NEEDED TO BE. AMAZING JOB. PLEASE MAKE MORE!!!!
Thanks for the Video clip! Sorry for chiming in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you heard about - Carnbigail Reputable Cure (google it)? It is a good one off guide for eradicating your varicose or spider veins without the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my good mate called Gray at very last got cool results with it.
I love that BP cuff. Talk about making life easier. Great video. Thanks for posting. Doing my second ever LLA tomorrow. First time I was unable to get a reading on the posterior tibial pulse and I was quite upset with myself for not getting it. Hoping for better results tomorrow :)
Thanks for the demonstration. I would like to point out that the BP cuff was upside down in both brachial and foot pressures. Plus, I think it would be a good idea to slow down the release of the pressure so you would get a more accurate meansurements.
Thank goodness I live in the US where nurses place blood pressure cuffs right side up, as well as release the pressure at a rate slow enough to permit an accurate reading. This video was made in Toronto, Canada. I wonder. Could this kind of incompetence be the result of a government run health care system?
Nice Video clip! Apologies for the intrusion, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you researched - Carnbigail Reputable Cure (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a good exclusive guide for eradicating your varicose or spider veins minus the normal expense. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my buddy finally got excellent success with it.
The rate of deflation in the video is probably a bit higher than it should be, seemly around 20mmHg/sec, when it should be much slower close to 1-2mmHg/sec when approaching the anticipated brachial systolic PB. Mistiming of the pulse at that rate could lead to a reading a full 20+mmHg lower than the actual figure.
My numbers so random: 44yo overall healthy man RArm 118/72 RAnk 152/67 152/118 = 1.28814 (right) LArm 133/75 LAnk 146/73 146/133 = 1.097744 (left) Highest Ratio (RAnk/LArm) 152/133=1.143 Would this test be considered healthy? I’m kinda worried because the high pressure into ankles? Does this reads differently? Thanks for sharing.
Thats weird ! For as many years I have checked Blood pressure, there have always been very specific instructions, as how to apply the cuff ! Tube always facing down the arm, towards the hand ? She has it backwards ? But she did say she was in Canada ! 😂🤣😂
A value of .9 and lower suggests the presence of Peripheral Arterial Disease. Between 1.0-1.4 suggests the absence of PAD. Values above 1.4 suggests that you may have calcified arteries that are seen in diabetics and a physician should consider a different test. I am a non-physician echocardiographer who has done these tests in mobile settings in the US.
Feeling how the blisters on my torso began to shrink within 3 days was very soothing, I applied what I talked about the other day and in two weeks the pain was gone. I just go’ogled Kaena Ramingler’s Shingles Solution and now I feel as smooth and relaxed as I've ever been.

WHY ARE WE YELLING
AAAAAAA
Ann-Marie made a crystal clear demonstration. Thank you!

This can be difficult with severe distal LE edema

@@pcastonguay With all due respect, my IQ may have dipped lower than 20 from just reading your post.😂✌
Thank you, Dr. Ann-Marie McLaren! 😊😇🌺
Nice clear presentation with a good demonstration of all steps. Ann-Marie Mclaren spoke very well.
Absolutely phenomenonal demonstration
This is a great video! great job! thank you so much, very helpful to study for the board exams and retain the information.
Why not release the air slower to get a more accurate reading, seemed way too fast
So remarkably prone to an inaccurate read at the speed of deflation that she facilitated.
Great demonstration Dr. thank you ma’am. 😌🙏🏽
Extremely helpful and simple!
Thank you so much. This helped my understanding greatly.
In Germany we use the lowest BP for the Ankle Pressure and the highest Brachial artery so that no isolated stenosis stays undiagnosed
Such a perfect video!

Fantastic!! 😲.. Easy.... All details are clear ♥️♥️
How many Hz is needed for handheld doppler.. Can i use Fetal monitoring doppler?
This is great is there a written reference you would recommend that summarises this?
Everything is neat and clear
Thank u for the video
Can this just not be done just using the blood pressure monitor?
i saw 110, why do you messeure so quick?
I agree. deflating the cuff slowly would give a more precise result. but overall good video.
Very good explanation simple and clear cut thank you!
Thank you för the video. Very simple and professional. I even close my eyes for your watch and ring which nurse shouldn’t have according to the rules…
A long standing mystery has been solved thanks
Can i use Fetal monitoring Doppler for ABPI?

very easy and very very good demonstration. thank you so much

I have been to a dr's appt with Dr Kerri to have my abi checked out. Using her steposcope, blood pressure cuff, ultersound machine.
So what's the Normal range. What figure points to PAD?
Less than 0.9 would indicate PAD.
The cuff was placed upside down lol
thought i was the only one who noticed that.
What is normal puls
Can surgilube be used?
I use a regular BP monitor and it reads ankle BP just fine
Thanks so much doc
What is the point of that, what are you trying to fined, and what good that will do us
Thank you drs❤❤❤
What kind of practitioner should I look for to do this for me? I’m in the US.
cardiologist
Great explanation
Thanks for your video 6 years latter you save a new nurse an embarrassment.
Brilliant so helpful
Thank you for this video
Well explained 🤩
Thank you
Much appreciated!
Thank you so much.
can i use stetoscope instead of doppler ?
Great question
arjun , the stethoscope won’t fit snuggly to the foot arteries.
👍🏾
@@raswilliewailers7078 You may use your finger
Good explanation
great video thanks

Great job
Ridiculous how fast she lets the pressure drop. It drops like 20 mm between consecutive pulses. The readings could easily be off by 15-20 mm.
Thank you!
thank you !!
That is one thing they fail to tell you of the sound.
thanku dr. mam..
Wow, video very useful
Love it.
Excellent
Jewelry is cute and all but it's better to remove all shiny when at work
Thanks
thnx a lot Mam...
Helpful....thanks
Awesome thanks
Madam please say normal values

I guess the cuff was placed upside down on arm
very complicated test
We are be long
Never feel any pulse with the tip of one finger!!!!

Awful and unclear for the calculation images. It's so unclear what he formulas are. For better clarity, see ?v=oFVnsR1XNBk
