Do you typically choose sashimi, nigiri, or sushi rolls?

By myself, sashimi. Maki rolls with friends

Thanks for the concise review! More reviews should be 60 seconds long. Just get to the meat! No pun intended

they have upped their game since they opened. Sushi is good, not awesome, but at this price point good and excellent fish to rice ratio -- as many AYCE have WAY too much rice. Nigiri the fish always hangs over the rice!
The REAL treat here are all the non-sushi items! I have been threre 4 times since January 2023, and the only misses were the dragon on fire, as she mentioned and the calamari. Other than that, all of the fried dishes are light and not greasy. The salads are all crisp and fresh, shu mai and gyoza are small and very tasty. Nice treats are the spicy tun on crispy rice, pork tonkatsu, and shrimp/veggie tempura. The Godzilla roll is very good but filling as it's fried in tempura batter, definitely one to share!!!
For lunch without a drink (just water) , with tip and tax it's about $30, which is what you would probably spend for a couple of rolls and a bowl of miso soup.
The servers are also very friendly.

Can you take home the food you’re charged for?

I don't think you can with the AYCE option. If you order a la carte, then I think you can.
