I post all my maps and artworks on these channels: Reddit: / leo-leonis Instagram: / leoleonisyoutube Background music by Kai Engel from Free Music Archive
Fascinating. Very curious what educational background is required for you to have these insights. The concepts are a bit challenging to grasp even though I’m familiar with the vocabulary.
@@LeoLeonis @Leo Leonis I've just finished this video and plan to binge all the rest! But I've got a couple of questions, is this world a flat plain or is it a globe? Does every society throughout the ages have access to the pillaisi? What culture's language does the name pillaisi come from and does all the society assuming they have different languages have different names for them? I loved the video, really enjoyable.
@@meowcoo All good questions! I will mostly work out the exact answers to them as I build the world! The world is a globe, and the way I imagine it most of the cultures would have access to the Pelaisi, though they might not make use of them (however, I advance the worldbuilding as a historical atlas of the Pelaisé so it would by definition have a blind spot for all those cultures without!), and I imagine them to become rarer through the ages. The name comes from the culture I introduced in my latest episode (the Baćaisé, I will very soon make an episode on the language and script I use), and other cultures would have other names of them, yes. The atlas itself is written by an author from a descendant culture of the Baćaisé so all I present is seen from an (informed) in-universe perspective (and other inhabitants of the world might see things differently).
this is really good, came here from the maps on reddit
Thanks and welcome!

@@communicatorkid Thanks for the feedback! I will try to phrase things more accessibly. My background is in philosophy, business & design.
@@LeoLeonis that actually makes a lot of sense
This is wonderfully done; I hadn’t thought of this sort of methodical, somewhat systematic, worldbuilding, but I’m very inspired by it!
Awesome, feel always free to share your experience and views!
This is very high quality
I'm very glad I found this channel.
Me too!
