Cool design. I made similar doors but mine swing out instead of in. Will consider making them like yours on the next go. No chance of wind tearing them off if they are inside the building when open
That's a pretty hefty overhead beam. Given that you have a good slab floor, I'd like to know if you considered using wheels to reduce your loading issues, and if you did, why you decided against it.
The overhead trolley system works great. It doesn’t need lower wheels. It’s actually easy enough to roll that my wife can use one hand to open and close each side, very very easily.

No, it was just a custom design j sketched out for my hangar. I looked at a lot of different hangars and decided to give this a shot. It’s worked out great for several years, and withstood 150 mph winds in Hurricane Laura with 200+ gusts.
