I just ordered my Revelator today from Sweetwater. It should arrive in 2 days. Running OBS, Zoom, Studio One 5 Notion 6, Win 10 Pro desktop audio and my students audio coming back.. I'm so glad you made this video Joe!
Is there any way to just use the software and have the capability to use any mic? For example: a “revelator interface” that would look like the audio box and instead of having a usb microphone already attached to it, just have an XLR input?
Is there a way to control the software from an external device such as a stream deck or control board? If so I am very VERY interested in picking this up!
Honestly, this is super cool to see! Especially for people needing that next step up from a headset or cheaper mic! Actually really excited and nerding out about the possibilities with this! Not just for myself, but to recommend to other people as a viable - flexible alternative!
Just a thought ... make the software free and let it connect to any audio interface we already have. PreSonus might get a real foot in the door to Gamers and Content Creators in the Streaming sector.
@@B1ueStryk3r I completely agree. That‘s why I suggested to make the software free. PreSonus isn‘t a big brand in the Gaming Community at the moment. But audio is always a pain for Gamers as the want to focus on games. Getting to know PreSonus as a handy solution could open a huge market even more.
@@shoresaybow Making it free isn't going to help, most people don't load any background app to begin with, for performance hit. What we need is hardware audio interface that doesn't cost an arm n a leg, Goxlr mini is still too expensive for what it is.

You just sold me on this Joe. I'll order one tomorrow.
This is actually pretty cool that Presonus made this with gaming streamers in mind.
yeah but most gamers don't game on Mac this is the disappointing thing about this video!
That Vox amp in the background is SEXY.
Hey how's latency when using this in studio one as audio interface?

Will this work with StreamYard? Really need to know. Cant find much info.
I have a windows pc and multi mode isnt an option when I installed the revelator. What gives??
Question - instead of using the usb c to a, can we lengthen the usb cord?

Check out UC surface for Android and Apple devices - you can control your Revelator remotely from there over wi-fi!
I love this! Been juggling Blackhole or Soundflower but this simplifies everything! ***By the way what keyboard is that?! Very cool!
Can the Revelator mic be mounted on a boom arm? If so, them I'm definitely buying one!
Yes!
Please really need help with this mic it is extremely sensetive and over boosted idk what to do with it
Convinced and ordered one ;)
Very usefull thank you !
So wait Joe, is the Revelator a condesnor mic for use with XLR or is it a usb mic?

Great idea, but the hardware has to be built for it. - Joe Gilder
Lol, you clearly don't know what your talking about. There's a reason goxlr isn't making big profit. Gaming n streaming audio is a small market share.
