Unfortunately Ivanchuk, one of my favorite players, who sadly overlooked his only chance in the game, falls victim to Radjabov's excellent play, but it was really a well deserved win. Many thanks to agadmator for showing and analysing this interesting game!
i know im asking randomly but does anyone know a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost my login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Amir Drake I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I remember watching this tourney live as Lawrence Trent and Nigel Short commented. Well, I missed the first few rounds. So it's good to be able to see them on this channel.
#suggestion Yuri Averbakh vs Alexander Kotov Zurich Candidates(1953) "Think Like A Grandmaster". One of my favourite games: Kotov misses the brilliant 33. ...Ng4 but gets away with it to win. Please cover it for everyone's enjoyment.
Finally the clash of the 2 of my favourite players! (Despite being the underdogs) I personally find their playstyle very eccentric and very similar to mine... It's unlucky that Ivanchuk had to lose on time... I'd want to see the match till the end! I also found the pawn to g4 move although I haven't really looked into the possibilities after that (I didn't pause the video lol), only that after that move, white is forced to do a move out of the ordinary (means that white have to foresee some of the varieties of moves after black played g4)... Came for these two players, didn't disappoint! 🤧🙈🍻
I probably find the move maybe 5% of the time agadmator poses us a puzzle... but somehow I managed to find g4. I know it's a lot easier to find moves in positions like this when you know there is something there to find, but it still made me feel pretty good.
This was one of very very few times I solved the puzzle. But I was only able to solve it because the answer to many of these puzzles is often “push this seemingly unimportant pawn,” and in that position there was only one pawn black could move. I’m a better agadmator watcher than chess player.
Hey agadmator, got a challenge for you, but you'd have probably heard it before. The question is: place 5 queens on a chess board such that they cover all the squares. This was asked by an interviewer where I had applied for job and he gave me 30 minutes to do it, the catch being, if I didn't get the answer, I'd not get the job and if I got it right, they wouldn't be a 2nd round of interview for me. All for mentioning that I play chess in my resume hobbies section 😂😂😂
This is interesting, never heard of this puzzle before. Set up my board to try it out. Took me 8 minutes, but that's without the pressure of trying to land a job.
Did you get the job? And what is this interesting job? Must be Human Resource related. Eg: Try to place the least number of employees per shift to cover all the responsibilities needed.
da96103 I did get the job, it's in R&D department of a heavy vehicle company. But he kept his promise. He hired me after just 1 round of interview. Everyone else had to go through 2 rounds
it was not unusual for Chuckie to lose on time....though a great player there was certainly something missing from the man.....that prevented his chess talent from reaching its true potential......no one has ever explained it....even while agreeing how deadly he could be.....as example...we get "the man most feared by kasparov"....etc....well....you need to be able to explain why that was so....and why that never translated to the results of his chess career....
Agad, I'm not a strong chess player but in reply to 32......b6, could Radjabov have played 33 Nxc5 sacrificing his queen with the idea that after 33......bxa5, 34 Ne6 forks the rooks with the idea that white's pawns will be enough in the rook ending?
I'm wondering if white should have played Nxc5 as opposed to Rxb6 and sacrifice his queen (if black accepts) for a bishop, knight and an exchange? (seems to be clearly winning)
Being a d4 player, I cringe every time I see the Leningrad Dutch. Didn't Chucky lose 4 or 5 games on time in this tournament? Sad when that happens to such a creative player!
Who is it who says "Hello everybod" with the H pronounced like a Spanish "J" ? Note that's "bod" not "body". We need Antonio to say "Jelo Everybod" for fun and laughs.
Suddenly all Radjabov videos come up like crazy. Hahaha! Victory over Ding and time to remember his deeds.
He beat ding again in this candidates!
I can't help but notice Antonio's deep, croaky voice in his earlier videos. He almost sounds like a completely different person.
Watching this after radjabov win vs ding
Haha, yep
He is winner now.....
Watching after he won airthings
@@At0mHeart was gonna say it lol

Another great analysis. These puzzles were very tough.
Re-watching the whole of agadmator's archive superb👌
hello!
thank you for the new videos of teimour radjabov, now I'm watching all his games because of you, Mr Amazing guy.
Antonio: Find the drawing move for Ivanchuk
Me: immediately whatsapp Giri.

Thankyou very much, Antonio.

Wow it's a good feeling to randomly stumble into an Agad video with the Leningrad variation 💦
Something about the way Agadmator says “well then you lose the game horribly” makes me laugh so hard 😂
Chuky had an excuse, he was low on time. what's my excuse? simply, I'm no Vassily! hahaha

Not gonna lie, I was thinking Nf4+ was the move to draw.
Same I thought Nf4 check.
i found G4 pretty easily cuz Nf4+ loses as the pawns can be protected by the king easily
its a draw if he recaptures with the pone

Holy crap those variations!
I always enjoy the show :(
Well presented.
wow, you found more excellent moves than Vassily Ivanchuk!
Come back and play Candidates
YOU JUST HAVE TO LOVE IVANCHUK! Hahahhah. Just when you think he is a goner,he pulls out shit like this and almost wins! Awsome
I think you lost in Peter Svidlers nice haircut and forgot about Radjabov :)
Probably :)
How kind of You tube to bump this now.
Holy mother of chess I found the g4 and the continuation damn wellllllllll

I found a brilliancy at 2:19 g4, e×g4, bg5, kh4, b×g5, k×g6, h×g6, rd1 or qg6 is deadly
I imediatly found the puzzle !!!
the game is not as magical as Chucky's standard. but the ending variations blew my mind
I found the move, but my calculations following werent quite good enough
very nice game
Of course, he is setting up his Leningrad variation of the Dutch.
Found G4. Still no good at chess just for fun eheh Great uploads
I can't believe I found that move !!!
Baku ka daku
Honestly with the way Ivanchuk played in this game he was really asking for a spanking
Baku ka Daku 💯

Can someone explain Rook to B2 at 1:48? Was it done for anticipation of something?
it was not unusual for Chuckie to lose on time....though a great player there was certainly something missing from the man.....that prevented his chess talent from reaching its true potential......no one has ever explained it....even while agreeing how deadly he could be.....as example...we get "the man most feared by kasparov"....etc....well....you need to be able to explain why that was so....and why that never translated to the results of his chess career....
hey ummm im wondering if yall can help me when is the next big chess tournement like grandmaster style i wanna learn some stuff haha
7:45 a slight buzzing sound is being heard
at 3:41 Wouldn't it be better to move the rock to d1?
I was able to find the move but I would never find it if I played that actual game
yay Mr Ivanchuk my favorite

I mean you could probably give most losing players more time and they could find a way to draw, but that doesnt mean much.
Rajabov came back 😎
I'm wondering if white should have played Nxc5 as opposed to Rxb6 and sacrifice his queen (if black accepts) for a bishop, knight and an exchange? (seems to be clearly winning)
Go Radjabov and beat Carlsen
I instantly saw g4 without calculating, just intuition, looks so natural imo.
Nice haircut mate
I am very weak chess player but i figured out the brilliant move :)
Anyone after radjabov winning Airthing masters...
If you dont have enough chess to watch then go watch gm huschenbeth he do very good analysis on games
I wish he has some background instead of just plain white.
Im only 1100 but found it in 4 Seconds xp
#question what makes a game a brilliancy? or is it just the name given to good game?
The brilliancy were the moves that weren't played at the end.
oooh cool, thank you that's been on my mind for a long time xD
It's having a lot of variations that weren't played and the game itself also being played at a high level
Exceptional play.....sometimes stuff even engines don't find. Amazing combinaations that lead to strategic wins or just flawless positional play.
Ivanchuk did Not try to reach time control on move 40?
1:27 setting up his what variation of the Dutch?
Anthony Patricio leningrad
At 4:50 what if black plays Nd7?
Being a d4 player, I cringe every time I see the Leningrad Dutch. Didn't Chucky lose 4 or 5 games on time in this tournament? Sad when that happens to such a creative player!

I fucking love your vids
There are too much of Anand fans in this channel viewers!!!Any servey containing Anand match!!will go to anands favor!!
Wow. That g4 move for black was so deep, you'd need the Glomar Explorer to find it.
Bang bang
how about knight to f4 at 10:35?
If 1. ... Nf4 2. Nxf4 gxf4 3. g5 doesn't really give black anything; the position is blocked. White will win.
@3:53 why not queen b3 then after king h8, c5 and if black defends with queen e8 then knight f7 check and then the next move u can win the queen
1. Qb3 c5 and I don't see how to continue as white (to gain bigger advantage than white gained in the game).
this clearly loses a pawn and then after moving bishop back c5 will always be a threat
1. Qb3 c5 2. Bxc5 h6 3. Nf3 Nc6 4. Ba3 Kh7 with kind of a good position for black. You are a pawn up, but it's not a very healthy pawn (a2, c3, c4).
why Nf3 we can continue after h6 Ba3 Nc6 c5 check thats wht i meant petr
1. Qb3 c5 2. Bxc5 h6 3. Ba3 hxg5 -+
i didnt find the move, maybe it was hiding...?
first thought but didnt understand why anyway im an exelent player tal will say 😌
I couldn't find g4 😨
why would he play Rook to G7 when knight to G5 is played. He could place rook to anywhere. Was this a forced variation?
Who is it who says "Hello everybod" with the H pronounced like a Spanish "J" ? Note that's "bod" not "body". We need Antonio to say "Jelo Everybod" for fun and laughs.
what if the undefended knight goes to f2?
Why not knight to f2
