Absolutly agree! Between eu and n'a i have around 400 kills and this type of breakdown is kinda what i'm looking for. I know the builds, ive died to them I've killed some. But how do i improve my success rate ? Those videos answer that very concrectly
Damn, another amazing video. You just explained a very important part of pvp that i didn't really understand in 10 min. Thank you! One of the best if not the best albion content creator ❤
Wow, fantastic guide. It's so rare to see a guide that breaks down PvP concepts and how to play matchups, and is not just a "use this build for BIG LOOT". It's really interesting because I've built on the same ideas but in different ways. I had a DoT-focused build with the old infernal staff (when it had contagious fire). This naturally backloaded my damage. By the time players would try to run away, it would usually be too late. Lots of kills off screen. I sacrificed all mobility to win brawls, and let my DoTs do the catching of kiting players. Recently, the Mistwalker hood has been a fantastic tool for baiting that I am using more. The timing can be a little tricky, but if you nail it you can get so much value. It also allows you to lean into your brawl power, encouraging enemies to commit, so you don't "waste" slots on mobility.
Thanks for the quality content! Good idea to show how to fight the meta! It would be interesting to know the details of the game against the reverse side of the playstyle (brawl based matchups like dual swords and fire staff)
Thank you for the awesome vibes! I know the feeling of getting into Albion after years of other competitive games (mostly Dota for me) and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised by Albion PvP :)
thank you so much ~ absolutely love your videos man~~ that explains so much in details of how I lost to blood letters... I struggle to tell which is their E versus their W dash...
Love your videos dude - especially the weight you put to deeply explain "how it works..or no" . I wish i could use my brain more to adapt - react to situations in Albion - but as i m getting older .. one of the obvious drawbacks are "brain lag" .. Good luck 2U - keep it up! "GeorgyBoomers" *Americas ;)
Luckily for us, a big part of reaction time is being prepared. I remember seeing some analysis of top Dota 2 players inhuman reaction moments and how much of it can come down to simply knowing in advance what are the 3 most probable things that can happen on your screen next.
the feyscale robe is a really nice counter againt stalker jacket the second ability which is the shield that stuns when you receive damage the enemy will be stunned for the whole duration of your shield or their stalker jacket
Good thing to point out! Feyscale is a potential tool against stalker jacket. There is a bit of a drawback that it takes 2 seconds to activate the stunning shield I believe. Another very effective option is the purge from mage robe.
Мужик, я плохо знаю английский и смотрел тебя с перевод субтитров. И это было великолепно! Спасибо тебе огромное, я узнал много новых вещей которые будут играть мне на руку в pvp. Я тебе безумно благодарен ❤
Great video, would love to see something like this but specificaly for dual swords, because i feel like it's 50% of the server's population right now :D
You are not alone! Probably the most relatable experience for EU mist players at the moment is dealing with dual swords. I'm figuring out how to approach this topic!
Subscribed. This was what I need instead of brain dead fighting videos with techno background And how can I play against people with higher mobility with bow of badon or whispering bow. Against a kingmaker for example, I definitely win but against a higher moveabilktt weapon like blood letter, I don’t know
I'm glad to hear that this is useful! However, let's not belittle techno fight compilations. There's value to being able to just relax and look at how others are playing the same game :) It's a very hard time to be a bow player right now. As you mentioned yourself, most meta builds have such an easy time catching you. I think it's because bows are largely balanced around being able to kite so the moment that's taken away it's just objectively weaker than most other weapons. Currently in the mists the only bows that I see being successful are low-ish IP warbows (with multishot and ray of light) that rely on opponent chasing them for just a little bit too long and hitting their W-E combo a couple times. Badon is kind of viable if you hit every E but still the moment you make one mistake (like wasting jacket or boots), a carving or bloodletter might just eat you.
Next video please on dual swords. They are used sooo much at the moment in the mists. I switch w to deflecting spin for their e and use my assassins jacket invisibility to counter their bloodthirst but I still cant consistenly beat them even on same ip.
Amazing, just waiting for those content ,main disperated spear here 🤣. Waiting for DB, which i think it s same but harder to catch for this damn range on E
Hello mr vic greeting for chile love your guides im learning a lot from you, i have one question its too bad to use leather shoes over the plate ones? Thank you in advance !
Thanks for good vibes!! You can absolutely use refreshing sprint on leather shoes. The heal feels to me like a tiny bit more reliable value but cooldown reduction during the sprint is very good too!
Do you have any suggestions on how to play bows in mist? I feel like swords can just brawl me into oblivion thanks to the small jump on Q and the movement speed stacks.
It's very difficult right now. I think all bow players are suffering from the issue you mentioned. Not only swords, but all meta builds are having such an easy time catching you that it's a very sad time to play bows. Only people that I've seen being somewhat successful with bow in the mists lately are those who go with low IP warbow (w multishot and ray of light) and rely on baiting higher IP enemies into chasing them. But this won't work against decent players.
@@VicZaneGaming Extremely big sad. I've been putting specs on bows because of how cheaply I can get a build going, but after trying it a bit it's extremely difficult to have a winnable fight against someone competent. I have to understand what else to play, but I'm a bit frustrated since I really liked long range kiting.
i got few questions 1- ) could you please do a video about Spear vs usual weapons in mists (light crossbow , dual swords , carving , fire staff etc). like which skills to use , when to engage or disengage , can you fight them if you are lower ip (if yes how much until its impossible). 2-) how should a spear play against battle axe and dual swords? i feel like i cant really brawl against them or kite them since they got better mobility and better brawling (assassin jacket , stalker hood and soldier boots is my build.) 3-) are spears okay without thetford / ava cape? i use 5.1 budget spear build , i feel like im lacking damage without it. (also which cape is better)
Overview of specific matchups for the 1h spear is definitely on the list of things to create at some point. I've been receiving this request a lot. For now, I can just direct you to the spear guide which can already help with some of the spear questions - ua-cam.com/play/PLGB7kNPt2z429VXCi6u6AAt6-W9iOJZoB.html Duals are a struggle for most players on EU right now so you are not alone. After looking at my own fights vs duals I realised that usually I am only able to win if I manage to dodge their E and W at least once in the fight. If they keep hitting their spells, I usually try to cripple their boots and reset. An alternative option is to spam deflecting spin against their E but it's still likely that you will need to dodge some spells to come out on top. Both thetford and ava capes are good for 5.1 spear - it's mostly personal preference. Ava cape is stronger but easy to miss since there's a delay. Thetford is a bit weaker but more reliable as it's a guaranteed extra damage every 15 seconds.
I think the 1h dagger is both very fun and quite viable. It is a bit like the spear in that you need to outplay your opponents usually and can't just press all your spells without thinking. If you are able to bait out your enemy's defensives with 1h dagger, then kite around and go in and kill them with your 2nd E, it's so satisfying. And you have nice potential to kill much higher IP builds if they underestimate you.
If you want to just constantly force brawls without any kiting, the easiest choices will be dual swords or battleaxe. However, note 2 important things. 1. You weapon is not the only part of your build that will determine your playstyle. For example you can play a carving sword both as full-brawl weapon as well as a more strategic kiting weapon. 2. Even if you only want to hit without running, you will need to adapt to your opponent a bit. Some builds will kite you regardless of what you want.
A double-bladed staff keeps killing me(around 200-300ip higher than me) , doing a combo that leaves me with 3/5 of my health, and when I start running away, it finishes me off. What should I do in this situation? (I play with a spear). I would greatly appreciate your help, any advices would be great
I'm having a bit of a same problem. I've been trying to get good DBS clips but it feels much more difficult than bloodletter at the moment with the new cartwheel build. In my experience, it's not really possible to catch them but you are often able to get them to back off if the IP difference is around 200. One of the crucial tools to win a brawl will be to cripple off their stun run. This can be the deciding factor between life and death. Another tool you have on the 1h spear is to cancel their E with your E if you see it coming and are able to react. This is especially relevant if for example you took a decent brawl, then the DBS started kiting you and is now trying to come back for another brawl. They will almost always use either their E or stun run to get to you and if you are able to counter those you have an advantage. But unfortunately, even if you do outplay them this way, it is likely they will be able to disengage.
I haven't played any group pvp since pretty much beginning of 2024. But it used to be a very strong choice for small scale, exactly for the idea of hitting that big E into the cluster. I'm sure it's still decent but there might be better options in the current meta that I'm not up to date with.
love your vids! i am becoming better player! Still get wrecked by bloodletters carvings and doublebladed chads, but sometimes, just sometimes, i do well enough to make them actually scared of dieing hehe. Just a couple of more videos and i will probably wreck a juicer ;)
There is a keybind for "Inspect Opponent" which will bring up info on the person that you have selected. By default, it's Y but I suggest that you rebind it to something more comfortable. You can check out this video to learn more about inspecting - ua-cam.com/video/ULcqB2yKxHg/v-deo.html
Baiting meta players into fighting you is an art that you can learn with practice, especially as a curse main if someone comits on fighting you that when you bank the best amounts of silver, bloodletters and double bladed staffs are hard to master so everytime I see a decent Ip difference I try to fight.
6:27 no, you almost had all your skills back, he was facing you. You had a poison reay. It was so simple. Just full stuck Q poison, stalker and E. Ge is dead after that for sure.
I'll keep this question in mind for the future :) For time being, you can apply some of the ideas from this video to your fights against fire staffs if you have a mobility advantage over them as most builds do. On top of that, one thing I've realised over time is how incredibly squishy they are outside of their defensives. So if you are able to play around their cleric robe/hunter hood/hood of tenacity etc, a fire staff will die very fast. And lastly, you don't really have to fight them - it's often high risk low reward type of fight.
So what I see here is all low ip fighting vs bloodletter no 8.3 bloodletter cuz realistically u don't win that fight But also I want to talk about the bladed fights . . . That aren't in the video and bladed it's not like bloodletter and they run purges instead of purty cowl or cultist cowl especially at 8.3 nowadays so in a bloodletter's case that mercenary hood is not helping him much in a fight like in the video while a purge would be the end of u So in the end it's still the same u can win if they are low ip but thise low ip people aren't the problem the 8.3 are I'm not traying to hate here but ur build is also countered by just a purge and a 6.4 bladed with cc bonus then he can reset his jack and purge again and ggs
If you were hoping for a simple build or strategy or just a big button to press that kills everybody else in the mists, then I have to disappoint you yeah. It's part of the fun of Albion that there will always be different builds, item and spell variations and situations and some will be stronger against certain others. And IP will always be part of this equation, too. As for purges - I think it's a very strong and versatile choice but don't overestimate it. It's not the end of a fight - it has a long cooldown and it means that the user loses on benefits of other helmets they could've had. For info, on EU top doublebladed players use exclusively cowl of purity.
@VicZaneGaming I don't expect a build that just can kill everybody but I'm just pointing it out that 8.3 are the main reasons people dislike mists so the one u kill aren't a big problem for people since if they use a half decent build they can kill them thats what I mean And btw using on bladed cowl of Purity makes me disappointed in eu bladed players ill be honest hear they are just throwing they gear to a good pvp player xd Edit: Just to mention this, sorry of this sounds like hate or something. I'm just pointing some stuff and saying my opinion all in all great video and nc fights

@VicZaneGaming I don't expect a build that just can kill everybody but I'm just pointing it out that 8.3 are the main reasons people dislike mists so the one u kill aren't a big problem for people since if they use a half decent build they can kill them thats what I mean
And btw using on bladed cowl of Purity makes me disappointed in eu bladed players ill be honest hear they are just throwing they gear to a good pvp player xd
Edit: Just to mention this, sorry of this sounds like hate or something. I'm just pointing some stuff and saying my opinion all in all great video and nc fights
Your guides are realy good and your voice sounds realy sexy 😅😂 nice work

I don't have my own discord server at the moment but I'll either create one in the future or figure out some other form of interacting more than just via videos!
