Those chicken doulas were a pain yet comical! More came to celebrate with Minnie and even the roaster crowed a welcome to the world! I grew up in a dairy farm and watching calves born was fun!

I'm 81, it's so great to see life keeps on living. New life happening. So glad its not in snow and ice but warm and sunny. Soon the birthing season will be done for this year and then the attention will be directed to hay. Hope you have - get the rain you need for a sufficient hay crop.

Those chickens are in clean up duty!
Chickens didn't care about the birth except the fact they would get some table scraps 😅 chickens eat about anything....they love blood. 🐔

I seen a lot of calves born so my attention was directed to the chickens and I was observing that big black rooster keeping a watchful eye on his hens. Pretty cool. Kind of like wild geese in a field, they all are eating but you will see some just standing keeping a watchful eye. Animals make me happy.❤
