Your level of transparency really shows your maturity and how your identity is in Christ and not on performance. I loved how you acknowledge Jesus and your emphasis on prayer and the word! I initially clicked on the video thinking it was just another cute couple, but what God has done in you guys lives and your transparency sharing really did it for me. Priceless. Lisael has the ability to touch Ian's heart. Look in his eyes. When she hurts, he hurts. He's also the godhead in his home with a heart for GOD. I am soo in love with how much you've grown as a Christian Couple. I launched a christian singles group in Raleigh, NC and I'm thinking of showing your video. Why, because again, she didn't think she was good enough, he probably didn't think he can lead enough but there is a power in SURRENDERING!! Not perfection, surrender and hanging in there and growing. You both were a hot mess! lolol but I am soo encouraged! and yes, PLEASE START DRIVING. This is my favorite video Ive seen from you guys. So honest and humble. Its very difficult to grow from being a kid doing normal stuff into adulthood with such heavy things like relationships and real love that's different from middle and high school puppy love. My you have a lot of wisdom from God. I learned so much from my husband who was wiser in most cases and relaxed in Christ which gave us almost 30 years of a wonderful marriage until he went to glory. He was older and was a widower who loved God.

You guys do look young and fresh, but there is a maturity about you that makes me think you might be in your late 20s. However when you date yourselves over the span of 10 years, maybe early 30s.

I know this is an older posted video. But a lot of the things you guys have faced I see mirrored in my marriage. Nice to know G-d can work all things for our good and His Glory.
You both are beautiful people! Lezl, your testimony reminds me of myself when I was in my 20's.😊 I am 47 years of age now but during my 20's I had very selfish ways. At that time I had a boyfriend who was thee best boyfriend ever, he was so awesome, he was handsome and such a gentleman and I did not appreciate him nor did I consider how selfish I was being toward him. My behavior cost me to lose him and I was so hurt by that. After high school I moved away to begin my career and start my life but on one particular visit to my hometown I ran into him and had the opportunity to apologize for my then behavior and to ask for his forgiveness. He smiled at me with the pure heart that he has always had and said to me, "We were young and of course I forgive you, we were just young." You absolutely have to have Christ as the center and foundation of your life. Nothing works without Him and life is so much sweeter with Christ in it! Blessings to you both!!

New to watching you! Y’all are so cute and your son is adorable. I live in Villa Rica, GA (40 miles west of Atlanta). My husband and I met in 2011, he proposed in 2013 and we married in 2016. I believe you mentioned y’all got married that year too. My first marriage his second. We are way older than you guys☺️. I was 50 and he was 55 at the time. You are so right about having God in the center. Without Him I know my husband and I would not be married. We both have a Christian foundation but when you let circumstances of the world in there will be problems. I never had any children. I didn’t want children without being married. So at the time I began to accept being single, the Lord had introduced me to my future through a mutual friend! My husband did come with a beautiful bonus, a daughter and she will be 14 this year. Sorry for the bio☺️. Yes I would love to hear about your engagement and seeing some wedding photos too. I know that our wedding day was absolutely a magical moment in time and to this day I still enjoy hearing and seeing pictures of other couples too!
