just a minor thing for anyone that cares: you dont want to pull up at V1. V1 is the decision speed; in other words, the maximum speed at which you can reject a takeoff. VR is the rotate speed where you can start lifting. the takeoff in this video rotates too soon and that risks a stall in some wind conditions like high headwind. happy flying
@@EazyDuz18 it is not incorrect. he says "v1, pull up" which is incorrect. v1 on all planes is the velocity at which you can still reject a takeoff if critical failure occurs. ideally in a 747 you want to be anywhere between 150 to 160 knots, and he began rotating at about 140, which is just a little too soon. you want to take off at the rotate speed to minimize the risk of tailstriking, stalling, or otherwise having issues, especially if you are heavy.
When taking off, do not retract the flap, as this can lead to the plane stalling on take-off, instead retract the flap slowly and when the plane is over 10000 feet, retract the flap up
When you create the flight you can see a DESC waypoint near the landing airport. DESC is for DESCENT and indicates the starting point of your descent. About the altitude to descent to you check your glideslope indicator. When you are on final leg you must be under the glideslope in order to intercept it. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!!
its not extremely realistic, there are some things that are just off (like the speed he rotates at, shouldve been VR but it was V1). its fine for a simulator player though
I can’t change flaps or anything it goes right back to where it was Same with the engines And if I use f3 Bounces right back to off All autopilot things are disabled
You probably have a joystick or another device connected that's also mapped to those commands. For example, if your throttle is set to idle on that device, you can move the throttle, but it will keep returning to idle. Something like this happened to me in the past. Too many devices...

I’m a brand new pilot to the series and playing on a series x my gf just got us (so she can play Harry Potter😂) this video is a big help! Thank you
This is good! thank you. Now if I ever have to land this thing I think i could
Great video to follow along as you are flying. Very well set-up and excellent training tool.
Did auto throttle engage itself? I didn't see you push anything during the take off....
It’s the switch right next navigation master on the dash
@@jadenwracing8176thanks
@@naudiatf2791 no problem!
We can control throttle from keyboard also and xbox remote also

V1 - Decision speed
R - rotate -when you are suppose to lift the nose up
v2 - Safety speed - climb speed so that you don't stall out the aircraft
Gotta love when it's a how-to video and within 1 minute you can tell he doesn't actually know what he's talking about lol
Thanks I came to watch your video because I didn’t knew how to turn off the auto throttle….😅 Thanks!
OMG THE INTRO I LOVE IT!!
this may be the first time i clicked like button so fast
smooth like butter. nice landing
i just picked this game up and would love to get into it.
which game it is?
SUPER 👍 THANK YOU
Like 800 this was very useful
Coincidentally, your flight plan was exactly what I was going to do
Quality 🔥🔥🔥
very usefull. :) Thanks a lot.
Thanks for the quality video
Thanks for watching!!
Really like your voice!
Thank you very much!!
THANK YOU FOR THIS
very nice
i miss the fsx atc menu, gps, joystick mapping, got too used to it :D
Nice!
Sometimes my flight time will not show on world map… sometimes it will. Have you run into this issue?
Yeah it happened to me, it's a bug... Thanks for watching!!
Thanks
Like how you got 666 on the plane lol
How do you know when you have to start your decent ? And how do you know what altitude to decent to ? 😁

i feel like in the future advance AI can just fly the plane all by itself the take off mid flight and landing
Well they can do it right now also but you can never replace a pilot the system can fail so there is a need for pilot
Good mentor
Is this exactly how you would take off a 747 in real life or are there steps skipped?
Def not realistic lol

There is probably some atc permission stuff before takeoff.
absolutly not...
lol I don't get why ATC keeps telling to expedite the climb to FL320 when you are landing. This happens to me sometimes as well
Bro I live the mics what are those?
How did you know to lower you alt to 5000? I mean when is the good time to take these decisions

No Live FMC?
When I fly. My plane does not follow the flight plan at all even if press Lnav. Any idea why?
I need help, when i fly and get to the approach my purple line dissapears and it won't follow the approach line which is white

My Lnav button isn’t working. Whenever I click it it just doesn’t turn on
How to go full throttle
why did you do phx to tuc
My autopilot flys in the wrong direction
Simply turning on LNAV does not work for me
I can’t find the Boeing in game, where can I get it?
I fly it but in landing it dosent deploy the landing gear
YOU ARE MENTOR
hahah thanks for watching!!
