Djrocks Gaming A few issues with that. We're given the idea that Nadine has gotten extensive military training and combat experience fighting wars. Nathan had just recently come back out of retirement, on top of having no formal training. So I'm not sure if easily beating her would have made sense
Of course the plot demanded it. The plot demands everything. It had to establish her character. It had to show what a skilled fighter she was. Otherwise, what's the point? What kind of an antagonist would she be if she posed no challenge?
Moreover, Chloe and Nadine were starting to get the upper hand on Asav in their very first fight. They were clearly getting multiple hits on him as a team. Fighting multiple opponents can be overwhelming, especially when they're skilled fighters like Chloe and Nadine. He just won the first fight because he managed to push them both out of the aquaduct. He put up a good fight, but he couldn't take them both.
None of that dialogue suggests that they handicap men for women. They always treat their characters equally. ND didn't have Joel didn't spare Marlene in TLoU. Asav would have beat either one of them in a one on one. We see that every time they try to take him alone, but together, they can. That's a very important aspect of the game as well.

Not really, Rafe was way more badass and hard to eliminate, Asav talks too much and sounds like a ridiculous villain at the end, telling all his plan, classic.
Rafe was a bit psychopath in the end and lost control of himself, telling truth about how much he despites Drake because of jealousy. Rafe was the typical anti-Drake. Asav was more classic

BattlestarPegasus They are not badass. Just carried by plot. Anything that they do isn't due to skill, it's dry to the story having to go that way. Like how at the end he basically gives up and lets himself get defeated. I mean, Chloe even begs for him to stop when he's about to kill her. That's not at all badass.
Jay Zie Nadine isn't even as skilled as Asav either. In uncharted 4 you can see that her moves would have been easily countered by anyone with the amount of experience that someone like Asav, or Nate should have.

Nate didn't want to hurt Nadine, but she doesn't mind hurting him. He tries to talk her down every time they meet that's why the fights are on rails... It wouldn't be in his character nor honorable beating the crap out of a woman. He only hits her when it is absolutely necessary. Granted, she's good... but with someone with a track record and skill set as Nathan Drake, she ain't superior to him. He is slower since he's been out of the game for a bit, that's why he doesn't dodge the way he used to. He could beat Asav, but it'd be a difficult fight, nearly as difficult as Talbot I'd imagine... or at least close

She's been a trasure hunter for decades just like Nate... she's actually better at her job than Nate is wdym when did she learn to fight?
@@demonwolf570 I think she's self taught as well, but she seems to at least have TRIED to learn while Nate and Sam just hit. She has a correct boxing stance unlike Nate or Sam, a lot of the moves she does also seems to have more thought put into them and with more skill. An actual martial artist once said Nate fights like someone who watched some professionals and tried to emmulate it without actually LEARNING what to do, while in my opinion Chloe seemed to at least try to learn.
