I relate so much to you as a fellow 35-year old woman grappling with what it all means and where I am in life, including the deep dives into color analysis and kibbe body types all of a sudden haha. I'm also currently going back to school for a career change. 😂
Thank you for sharing your birthday blues and emotions with us. Feels good not to be alone with this life struggle (33, turning 34, same situation with boyfriend, friends and no baby here). Hope you are feeling better :)
Just subscribed! I recently discovered your channel since I believe I might be a Soft Natural. I’m still figuring out my Kibbe ID and color season and all that, just as I am still figuring out my life too. Anyway, I appreciate your openness and vulnerability and it’s nice to see we’re all just figuring things out as we go.
Thank you for subscribing! Im sorry it took me so long to reply! Have you made any progress with your kibbe ID and color season? haha I still havent but am liking the journey. Thanks again! Take care!
Follow Scorpio here. We cope a lot and normally I do with bad habits. I used to drink a lot and now it's shopping. I love that your reflecting on what being emotional is vs being toxic with your emotions. I am right with you on letting go of negative self image. Thank you for the video! I also think that I am not a SN and actually a SD lol, I heard that a lot of people think they're SN in the beginning of their kibbe journey!
Ah I love my fellow scorpios! You must have had a birthday recently too then, happy birthday! I have fallen into the shopping thing too at times. I’m trying to learn to be less emotional in general and more discerning of the emotions. It’s always heartening to know others struggle with these things too, haha and that others struggle with their kibbe ID :) Thanks for watching
As a fellow dark-haired pale gal...I'm with you on assuming I was cool toned for a really long time. Only a few years ago did I realize there was a more warm-neutral lean to my skin tone. I look wonderful in warm rusty, mustard, plum, and green colors (if I do say so myself), and honestly just looking at you and how nice your background looks with your skin, I'd definitely say you can rock warm colors. The red/orange coat looks AMAZING on you. I agree that "body types" and "color palettes" don't have to be a hard and fast rule...if you feel good and happy in something, wear it. I try to use them as a guideline, or if I'm trying to choose between items online I have a better feel for what will look nice on me.
Happy belated birthday 🎂 All these color seasons and body types are hard to figure out but I think you’re doing a wonderful job and thank you for putting these videos together. I personally think the Soft Natural styles make you pop and as for color seasons you should keep experimenting and comparing. I was dead set on being Autumn or Winter but I saw a House of colour professional and she helped me see I was a Summer lol
Thank you for this comment, Im sorry I didnt respond to it sooner! Haha since you learned you were a summer did everything click into place? Do you find yourself happy with the result from House Of Color? Youre the second person in this comment section to mention them so far :)
@@welltrying No worries! And yes, it was a huge help. It did feel like a click for sure! Before I got my colors sorted out, I definitely think there was some self-projection and bias at play. For example, what season I wanted to be and which type of colors I personally liked at the time. Getting the color service done really clears it up since you see the differences with your own eyes. Plus it's just a fun experience :)
HAPPY HOLIDAZE ASH! I don't know how else to reach you but I'm glad we've shared the screen together and I hope you're doing well! Care and love! 🖤🤘🙏🎅🎄🥃🤶💨🍪
H&M could cast you to model that red jacket. The checkered blouse, please keep, if possible, wear frequently, you are just so stunning (and with the sleeves pushed up my goood). As for jackets, I'd head to Poshmark/Depop, sell the Aritzia, and scroll for something that you like modeled on a girl with a similar body type. Blazers are pieces that get redesigned every decade and season, so going vintage just gives toons more options with cut and fabric. (personally for example, 2022's winter collection ain't doing shit for my body shape) Really thanks for any video, witnessing others trying (i know, channel ethos) is so necessary for us all to keep doing it!
Thank you for this kind and helpful comment! I think you’re right about just selling that Aritizia coat, life is too short to keep trying to make it work. I’m glad you enjoyed the video and are here with me as I traverse this confusing kibbe journey!
Just wondering if your hair colour in this video is the Smoky Topaz gloss you used in other videos or something different? I love it… considering going to the salon for a gloss or diy at home :)
I shot this video about a month or two after using the smokey topaz so I think it might have been gone by that point. I really like the gloss and have used it multiple times :) would recommend
Please don’t ever let money stop you from having children! They truly only need basic necessities and you. Love and attention cover a multitude of sins.
You know what? You are so gorgeous. You are a pure beauty type. And watching your searching process for the right fit/color/style I come to the conclusion that all that typing science seems so complicated, so individual, but gives not so much result that it's better to allow yourself to wear what you like and how you like it. Because when I see you in different styles I see a beautiful young woman with flawless skin, healthy, rich hair and icy-blue eyes and clothes don't really matter - some pieces I like a little more on you, some less - may be it is my personal preference or indeed, it fits your body better, but the difference is so meager. It is always a beautiful, gorgeous lady who tries these styles. That's it.
Thank you for taking the time to write this comment. You seem like an incredibly kind person and I appreciate your input. Thank you for the kind and encouraging words.
@@welltrying ok. I actually know I am soft natural and a light spring. I am short waisted . So that's my problem. I can't fit it all together. Otherwise I really like your style. Do you know if any short waisted SN UA-camrs preferably springs. I know you said you created your channel do to lack if sn UA-cam channels. I just thought I would ask
@@debrabarbitta7853 actually the only other soft natural I can think of is Matilda Derf, if you haven’t already definitely check her out. She may be a warm spring but she’s an SN and has some incredible inspo looks
Well I think that you are bright spring.. i see a lot of yellow in your eyes, as well as your hair as i can tell leans more to orangy rather than ashy color.. also your lips have a peachy color.. in my opinion i think you shine in bright warm colors and not in black and dark colors! Just my thoughts!🧡
I see you as a Dramatic Classic, and since you seem to be inviting feedback, I'd say buttoning up collared shirts are a more "Gamine" look, not your best, unbutton a couple 😉
haha Im sorry I didnt reply to this comment sooner, I actually just did a gamine video but think I'm probably SN. I will definitely take your advice and unbutton a couple ;) thanks for your feedback!
Hello, Ashley! Loved the video! I think you are a Summer!
Thank you for the feedback and nice comment! I think so too :)
I love that drape-checkered sweater on you!
The last 2 were awesome.
You say you don’t look warm toned, but you look stunning with the colors in the background ❤
thank you for this nice feedback!
You look absolutely stunning in the blazer outfit! Your hair, the fit - it screams Dramatic classic and I love it! :)
Thank you so much!
Yes, she does.

Toronto :)
Do you offer a typing service?
Oh no, I actually struggle to type myself lol but I think you can get typed on the Reddit kibbe thread, they seem pretty knowledgeable there

even all the colors in the background look nice and could be apart of your color palette! the olive green and the darker browns look really nice :-)
